GTA: Vice City Australian release date October 25

Just down at EB at Chatswood picking up V8 Supercars Race Driver (read TOCA Race Driver), and also pre-ordered GTA: Vice City.

They're quoting October 25 for that, so only two months, people!

Well, the only change they made was that you couldn't pick up prostitutes and improve your health. You're still able to run them down, shoot them, burn them or hit them with a baseball bat.

Since I managed to get the original version by the skin of my teeth (I'm sure it reverted to the legal version when they banned it ) I want to ensure nothing like that happens this time.

Negative- Rockstar are being very secretive but the understanding is that it is a full game - even fuller than GTA3.

Its a full game alright. The reason the game didn't take so long is because the planning was already done and the engine was in place.

Actually, if GTC fails to come out before GTA4, I'm getting GTA4 for my B-day(unless a MX-3 GS comes along...)

I've never stolen anything in my life...people thought I did about 2 weeks ago, the stupid alarm went off at Target as I'm wheeling a microwave out with my parents...they made me go back in the store, they checked it, and they said that it's gonna go off again no matter what they do, so I ran with the cart to look like I was stealing it...the alarm was a great touch.

you know those metal strips in dvds, cd,s games etc. etc.?

Well, take one and put it on the inside of your shirt, and walk out right behind a person or persons with lots of items, heheh

I found this out on accident, when one was stuck to my shirt after i peeled it off. we didnt found out what was causeing the alarm to go off, untill halfway home.

I still havent gotten bored of gta3 (such a good game!) but i want that feeling of being lost and not having a clue where everything is lol im psyched for this game!!

Yeah - I still fool around in GTA3 pretty regularly (usually involving heavy weapons, peds and eventually the police, FBI and the Army.

I must admit I am looking forward to exploring a new city - remember the thrill of getting on to Staunton Island the first time and checking it out - I rear-ended a cop my first time out there and got involved in a pretty full-on chase!

im so glad i have the orginal copy of gta3 cos you can last longer with the cops cos of the 25 boost hehe.

Well your wrong everyone i got my PSM Magazine, and the release date is October 22nd, no joke!!!!!

And GTA:Vice City will stay exclusive to PS2 untill 2004, so untill 2004 there will be no PC Version, Your Welcome, and im not joking!

Uh - the exclusivity agreement they signed with Sony was for consoles only, not PC. Hence GTA3 for the PC.
