Hello and welcome to a new organized racing league on GTPlanet. As you can see, right now this league is in a very early embryonic stage. Anyway, this league is and will eventually be the result of an idea I had:

First of all, there are four kinds of racing leagues. They are:

1) Casual, friendly, and relaxed leagues which usually are quite small and are not as organized/professional as the second type:

2) Large, highly organized and professional leagues which go so far to the point where everything is about competition only, and the organizers are so overly strict that they end up seeming "corrupt." These tend to give out many severe penalties for the most minuscule offenses, which result in altercations, drama, and ultimately bans. However, the competition in these leagues are usually quite fast-paced, containing many "aliens."

The last two types are combinations or detractions from the first two.

3) These leagues are combinations of the first two, which aim to give the best of both worlds, both organization and friendliness, but fail to do so on a number of levels. There are a small number of this type that do succeed at that, but they are rare.

4) These are neither of the first two nor #3, and usually are not seen or make up a percentage of organized online racing because they usually do not exist for very long, since they are not friendly or organized!

To state my actual point and what you can expect from this racing league, I will start of confirming that I will attempt to make this league a Type 3 Racing League. I will be taking a Libertarian approach to this, and I promise you that I will try my absolute hardest for this league to be the best of all worlds and endeavors of online racing. Here is a master list of the qualities, attributes, features, and do I dare go as far as to say benefits of what this organization will be founded on:

Gran Turismo Drivers Association Constitution

1. All persons who race online in GT6, including those without a GTPlanet account (I will create a corresponding club in the GT Community features) who wish to join this establishment or any series that runs under it will be accepted, but more specifically, it will be made illegal to exclude anyone from any event whatsoever.

2. All series and events organized by this establishment will be run with maximum friendliness, respect, understanding, and forgiveness. This means that all members who violate our slightly revised OLR will not be subject to cruel and overly harsh punishment, which includes absurd penalties, immediate bans from the series and/or league, and personal attacks/cyber bullying, or any other disservice. All members are expected to respect one another, and in the event of an altercation on GTPlanet between member(s) a moderator will be contacted immediately in order to stop it, and penalties/bans from the series/league will be handed out accordingly to the aggressor(s). Any intentional on and off-track breaches are to be considered much more severe than the usual non-intentional driver errors which occur in every race, and bans will be handed out much more quickly in the event of the former condition.

3. Any non-intentional breaches of the OLR do not validate any banning of any kind from this establishment or series, however, if a driver repeatedly expresses poor racecraft, that driver may be subject to exclusion from all events for a period ranging from two weeks to one year. Only intentional ramming and bullying on and off the track are valid reasons for a permanent ban.

4. The track boundaries for all series and events are to be considered the red/blue and white rumble strips; at least two side wheels must be kept on these at all times. The first time a driver unintentionally crosses these boundaries no warning will be issued, however the second time this occurs a warning will be issued. The third time this occurs a 5-second penalty may be issued.

5. In the event of an illegal overtake in which less than two side wheels are kept on the rumble strip, you will be forced to give that position back, or else a 5-second penalty will be issued.

Banned User Log

332i/yadeegson (Permanent) - Possessor of one of the most atrocious and argumentative attitudes of all human beings who have ever existed and ever will exist. Rest In Bandom!

All right that is enough for now, I will continue to update the OP daily, and if you wish to join let me know, and of course don't be afraid to give out suggestions and ideas for this!
