Nurburgring GP/F; 24 Lap Endurance Race
Qualifying at 1:30pm EST, then race at 2.00pm EST Friday 22nd July​

General Information and Regulations​

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by GTPLMS sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA official (RACECAR) and they will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manner.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA.

• Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
• No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
• Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
• No wall-riding as well. Combined with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
• While close racing is accepted, it will also be monitered so mind yourselfs on track. Penalties will be enforced for any behavior considered avoidable contact or rough driving.
• All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

Car Specification​

Ferrari F10 '10

HP: 704
KG: 620

Oil change is allowed and Engine Overhaul is optional. Setups are allowed, but no tuning is allowed.

Qualifying​

• 15 min Qualifying session
• RS & RH tyres only.
• ASM is allowed. TCS & Skid recovery is disallowed.
• Gearing (Top Speed Slider) is own choice.

Race​

• 24 lap race
• Must start the race on the tires you qualified with (RH or RS) and must use both compounds. At least one Stop Manditory pit stop.
• Tyre Wear/Fuel Consumption
• ASM is allowed. TCS & Skid recovery is disallowed.

When you say no tuning, does that mean no suspension set-up, etc? If not, I'm interested.

I mean no things like Weight reduction, Engine tuning and stuff like that. I get the feeling though that since this is an F1 car, that might not even be an issue.

It isn't an issue, the only thing you can buy is tires. In that case:

Just 2 questions. Would the start time be 7pm GMT? & How much is the ferrari or is it only available through winning an A Spec competition?

It's at 6pm GMT, and the Ferrari costs 10,000,000 Cr, or can be won from a Level 24 ticket.

I'm curious, how can you police this? Do you just rely on people to use the honor system?

I believe you can view the tire compound in the replay if I'm not mistaken.

But it's not possible in qualifying when everybody is out, unless everybody's taking turns and RACECAR goes last...

I can just watch everyone as they qualify.

Nope. You can't use borrowed cars online.

Sorry, but I've decided to cancel this. When only one person signs up and no one else does, its more of joke then a race There's no point in even trying to continue on with it.
