It's really creepy when you see grown men buying My Little Pony toys at your local Toys R' Us store or whatever place that sells toys and men wearing My Little Pony T-Shirts. I just can't stand it. Including the show. I try to but fail. I prefer ponies like this.

Now that's what you call being a real men when you like these ponies, not some girly looking cartoon pony characters. And sorry to offend you bronies out there but it's just my opinion.

I have no problem with people liking the show, I just don't think any cartoon on the Discovery network of channels is cool.

It scores points for being a kids show with some entertainment value for the adults that get stuck watching it. It's still a kids show though so they are pretty much limited to kid show storylines which get repetitive fast.

Uncool.

Meh. I honestly don't care if you watch it or not. It's a TV show. I don't understand the outrage that this show has caused.

I'm willing to bet many would say the same about grown men buyng large amounts of Pokemon toys.

It's actually better then buying MLP merchandise. :)

Also the jokes about me is getting a bit ridiculous in my opinion. Thought as of now everyone would have forgotten about the threads I made on here. :banghead:

Both are uncool children shows, at that point it just depends on who's buying it.

Maybe it's because you called out a group of people for buying merchandise from a childrens show, when you yourself have done the exact same thing. Then you get upset when someone calls you out on it.:odd:

Thanks for reminding us, I had actually forgotten until you mentioned it.

I'm not trying to be a hypocrite in any way maybe in the eyes for some people here but I only buy whatever is for boys. And look there's already a few people here who are already making fun of the people who buys My Little Pony merchandise.

And now that you've reminded yourself of the 🤬 quality posts I made, oh boy, let's not open Pandora's box again ok? Not everyone is perfect you know.

And that makes it ok how?

Again, I had no idea until you brought it up.

Obviously if it's targeted towards young boys maybe in this case of scenario targeted towards young people of any gender, there's absolutely nothing wrong about buying its merchandise.

Have I made myself clear now? Do we have to continue ranting about it and open Pandora's box again which then meaning somebody here is going to have their account deceased *banned* which will obviously be me?

What does it matter if it's targeted towards boys or girls?

You're the only one ranting about anything, and from your last post I'm not even sure what you're upset about this time.

And there is no box, you're making a huge deal out of nothing, again.

Why would anybody be getting banned?

Trolling and can we just friggin stop. Nobody doesn't want to put up with this BS.

I even said it was my opinion and now everyone is all getting jealous because of my obsession with collecting Pokemon merchandise. Why does that even matter? :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I didn't even tried to. Only you people attempted to set me off by picking on me like a bully.

I now smell a war coming from the south. It's coming and it may be ugly. And I sure don't want that to happen.

Are you sure that "jealous" is the right word there?

Now I'm requesting a 1 week ban. :dunce:
We don't do ban requests.

Also, without flying off the handle, you have got to see the perceived correlation between a person buying MLP merchandise and Pokemon merchandise. Keep in mind that not everyone has intimate knowledge of either of those shows and therefore can only see what's in front of them - someone they consider out of the target demographic buying something they "shouldn't".

How dare you sir, Pokemon is more than just a show it's a way well...of life!!!

No but seriously the card game, especially the Video game (where it started) and the manga were probably what got the ball rolling over the world, the show is what made it grow as far as the American market, and help grow in other areas that were already on the train. MLP just if I recall is a show only...right? I just don't see the correlation.

It started of as little rubber toy horses ponies (duh) in the early 80's. Pretty sure it then got a cartoon, then a film, then was reinvented every few years.

So let me get my head round this.

@pokemonfan58 is stuck in the 50s where certain things/tv shows are for boys and certain things/tv shows are for girls and no one can do something meant for the opposite gender?

To be fair, I grew up in the 80's and it was toys for girls, and toys for boys, the internet didn't exist so attitudes and accessibility were/was totally different. If any boy had have turned up to school with a My little pony doll instead of a Transformer (ah G1, those were the days) they would have never heard the end of it, may as well have turned up in a skirt! Whatever attitudes today are should be, MLP evolved as toy for girls, that's entirely what it was geared for, and who it was marketed towards - the fact that the internet now prevails, and offers people the chance to indulge in things that no-one else may ever find out about, without even leaving their own bedroom, might be changing the situation, but it doesn't just undo 30 years branding and marketing. My parents bought me Transformers... (never Megatron though... WHY!!!??!) and they bought my sister MLP, and Cindy. Therefore, and reasonably I feel, if you ask me who MLP is for, I'd say girls.

Super uncool, but I will say that I find the amount of internet rage and butthurt it has created to be absolutely hilarious.
