It's quirky but restrained, well-proportionate and seems to borrow lines from some of the most beautiful designs ever. I see a bit of Bizarrini even.

A very high cool.

No, the Audi's much sleeker.
Great. But that doesn't necessarily make it more attractive. For example, a 4th generation Camaro is much sleeker than a 1st generation Camaro, but I'd wager most enthusiasts prefer the design of the less sleek car.

;) Sleeker - Celica

But i also think what i said was true. The Audi is a cleaner design, not as fussy detailed or rotund as the Toyota in my eyes.

Unfortunately the Sell-ica is one of those cars with a different pronounciation to some people.

I didn't catch that at all. :embarrassed:

We will have to agree to disagree. You find the details on the Celica fussy, while I find them characterful in contrast to the generic and bland details of the Audi. To each their own.

It's true that this car looks much better than that Toyoter Cecilia or whatever you folks are claiming looks better than this, but taste is subjective.

It's a cool 70s coupe from a time when smoking, very tight trousers and swinging were also cool. This is the perfect vehicle for rolling up into Ron and Carol's pampas grass lined gravel driveway for one of their special "sleep over" parties.

Oh hang on, that was last week...
