Body Style: 2-door 2+2 coupé
Engine: 3.9L Lamborghini V12
Power: 350 hp (GT), 365 hp (GTS)
Torque: 300 ft-lbs
Weight: 1450 kg
Transmission: 5-speed manual (Automatic was an option on the GTS)
Drivetrain: Front-engine, rear-wheel drive
Additional Information: The Lamborghini Islero would not conform to the new safety and emissions regulations in the United States in 1970. Rather than tweak the Islero, they opted to just make a successor. Marcello Gandini designed this car, heavily copying from the Iso Lele (one of his other designs). The upgraded GTS model was introduced in 1972. It is not named after the Jarama racing circuit near Madrid, but rather the Jarama bullfighting region in Spain, keeping with the bullfighting theme of Lamborghini's nomenclature for their sports cars.

My wife just said it looks like a 1974 Dodge Omni. I agree.

Meh.

Another Lamborghini that's a work of art, but little-known. And the fact that the Jarama is rarely ever mentioned only makes it cooler.

That V12 though, it really make one sweet sound!

The front end is very nearly a copy-paste of the Gandini designed Alfa-Romeo Montreal, but it's like he stopped caring once past the front wheel arches. It won't give it a meh because Lambo, but it's barely cool.

Not one of Lamborghini's finest efforts - looks a bit ungainly from some angles.

Still, it's an early Lambo, it's can't be lower than a cool.
