I do not disregard the fact that this might well be a very solid car although bettered by a Landcruiser or a Shogun. I really like its looks, too. But nothing about this car says cool.

Uncool

Get bonus points for it's Ronsealness. But apart from that it's completely unremarkable in an already unremarkable segment. Uncool.

I wouldn't choose this over a Pajero or a Land Cruiser. And it's so boring... Nothing about it, not a single detail about it that screams cool to me. Uncool

I not really a off-road man, but from the little I know of the segment, this car does not really impress me all things considered. The Holden name (Jackaroo), sounds silly enough to be a name from a character straight out of a children's cartoon, but aside from that, I'm afraid it is no Pajero or Range Rover. It is a Meh from me.

Looks like it should be on safari in Africa, surrounded by giraffes and gazelles and whatnot. It should probably be uncool, but I can't help but think "cool" when looking at it.

Probably very capable off-road, but it's just one of those 4x4s that are just "there". Meh.

Or in white with UN in blue on the doors LOL.

I would also like to point out that I prefer the Vauxhall Frontera (Isuzu Wizard) over this Vauxhall Monterey (Isuzu Trooper). But that said, neither of them are cool.

I want to give it points for being the not obvious choice, but at the same time, I'm not sure it's quite as good as say a Land Cruiser or even a Montero/Pajero.

In the US, the Trooper (and SLX) got an "unacceptable" rating from Consumer Reports, fair or not, and it was widely publicized that it would tip over. The Suzuki Samurai had the same thing happen to it, but it had a spunkiness that this Trooper just didn't have. Unfortunately, being known for that isn't cool.

I wouldn't mind owning one of these, but ehhhh, uncool.
