I don’t think it’s an awful car, but it’s not a great one either. I think nostalgia from old racing games is giving this one a higher reputation in my mind than it deserves in reality.

Meh.

Don’t pay attention or care for them unless they’re a special edition or modified in a good way. Like this one.

Probably he's trying to point out that the design of the Mustang during those years was better looking than the Camaro that time then, which I think is true. Not sure though if the difference in their popularity has something to do with that.

A very modern looking design. Sleek, aerodynamic, stylish.

And yet whenever I look at it, this is what I immediately hear in my head.

It's a low cool for me, I thought these Camaros had a great design, that only got ruined by the catfish styled facelift in 1998, but I'm not voting on that Camaro. I mean, I would have an issue with the type of drives associated with Camaros, but most of them now seem to be driving the 5th and 6th Gen Camaros now. So yeah, I think the low cool vote is fine.

I always found these Camaros huge guilty pleasures of mine. It also helps that it doesn’t have as much of the trailer park stereotype as the two previous generations. Cool.

Don't know how to feel about this one, it isn't bad, but I like the cat fish design more, I think it suits the car better (also, the LM edition in Gran Turismo is one of my favourite fictional race cars).
Low cool, but barely

There's nothing that really stands out as being better in either design. They're about on par with each other. Neither are exactly lookers in stock form, though in their time I preferred the Camaro design over the Mustang.

Well, that's your perspective but for me, the design of the 90s Camaro reminds me of Chrysler's Sebring and I'm not that fond of it. That generation also looks somewhat streamlined for a muscle car but then again, only IMHO.

I find that i actually hate this car a little lsss than i thought i did. Probably because of the extreme of-its-time nature of the thing. Either way, super uncool.

It's a guilty America tub of pleasure for me. I think it looks pretty good for what it is, but I know it's not cool at all. But a stock, well kept one would be something that would look good to me.

It's meh

I voted cool, but man they really did cram that LT1 in there tight. Just changing spark plugs/wires on these can be quite a hassle.

This is not how a Camaro should look. There's nothing that links this design to the original car and I don't like that. The current model makes this one look awful in comparison. It really is the ugly duckling in the Camaro lineage and for that reason, I say it's uncool. Yes, it has a good old-fashioned V8 but I've never had an interest in it.

I concur. This one looks streamlined. The latest looks bold and muscular.

I still love these camaros I was intorduced for over two decades, the very game that revolutionized a good chunk of the racing franchise. High cool from me.

I don't mind this era of Camaro's they had a distinct look and It Looks significantly less generic then the Mustang of that era.

Cool.

Those damn fenders that continue into the mirrors are horrendous, but otherwise, I couldn't pick between the Camaro or Mustang from this era because they both look so 90s.

Cool.
