Body Style:
4-door sedan
Engine: 3.6L Pentastar V6, 5.7L Hemi V8
Power: 292-370hp
Torque: 260-390lb-ft
Weight: 1825-1930kg
Transmission: 5-speed automatic
Drivetrain: front-engine, rear-wheel-drive / front-engine, all-wheel drive
Additional information: A very popular option for police departments who were phasing out their trusty Crown Victorias. While it may not have been body-on-frame and not as reliable as the Crown Vic, the Charger has an aggressive look, with an optional 370hp V8 to catch those people who think they can get away.

Seriously Uncool. Everyone thinks these are so badass until they get pulled over by one. Police cars can never be cool, as it's the one type of vehicle that no one wants to see.

Cool. I got to ride in an unmarked one(before my brother retired from NYPD HWY 1).

Nowhere near as iconic as the Crown Vic. Uncool.

Exactly, the Crown Vic is the quintessential cop car and it has notoriety even outside the States.
Meanwhile this is uncool for being quite frankly unremarkable.

Nothing quite as unwelcoming as the sight of a police car responding to an actual crime, cordoning off a section of road during an event or turning up at a car show to please the kiddies. It's disgusting I tell you.

Disgusting maybe not, but I wouldn't call it cool.

Oh, the car itself? Definitely. That's something that almost no one really said otherwise.

Yep

The other thing is a difference of opinions. Sure it's nice to be able to call the cops, but it's better to not have to in the first place. Then there's homicide and other things like that.

Well if you don't call them when there's a potential issue, life threatening or not, than how are they supposed to know? I'm not sure I get what you're going for here. Are you using this as a reason as to why "no one likes to see Cop cars"?

I meant an issue not occurring in the first place to have to call. I think we're digging too deep into this.

It's a response to the following quote.
I think it’s pretty cool that if I call the cops for big issues, that they show up.

I won't be the one seeing cops arriving and cordoning off a road section and thinking wow that's cool.
