Without a doubt, the best looking new non-luxury midsize car. The only other car that's about as well-styled as this is the Mazda6. Now, is it cool? It's too ordinary to be considered as such, but there's nothing wrong with it either, so meh it is.

It would ordinarily be a meh from me, but something about the fact that peugeot as been in the dumps for so long, and seeing this come out, was a little heart warming. I feel inclined to say its a pretty cool peugeot.

That's one of the best Peugeot sedans and one of the better looking ones in its class, but it's not a special car by any means and it's a Peugeot, so...
Uncool

Cool, it's a nice car and pretty good looking - stands out well from the rest of the rep-class. Time will tell if Peugeot have baked some of their special Peugeot flakiness into it though...

Not that luxurious and lately been disling Peugeots designs these days.

But damn, this looks pretty damn good, they deserve a pat in the back for this one. Cool.

About 15 years ago, I would never consider this sort of car to be cool (the equivalent back then would be the 407) but given how overloaded the market is with crossovers these days, having this as a family car seems unconventional, for all the right reasons. Solid cool from me.

The way I see it, one of the unlikely benefits of crossovers and SUVs outselling sedans by such margins nowadays is that many non-luxury sedans have taken the initiative to really look stylish, or at least distinctive. The Peugeot 508 is the perfect example of this, as well as the Mazda6 2020- Hyundai Sonata, and a few others. I'd dare say the Toyota Avalon too, albeit being on the ugly side, it's a much more distinctively styled car than it's predecessor. Because car brands seem to know that bland, bread-and-butter mid-size sedans will no longer win over the masses, so making them stand out a little extra is the current approach.
