Yeah, I've got to hook up with SteveO at some point this week, so he can give me a drubbing in the mercialgo. He loves those damn 4-wheel drive things!

Yeah but we have to use standard cars I have my Gayardo and Murcielago set up with most of the drive to the rear and a little to the front, standard cars handle different

Tomorrow or Friday any time after 21.00 UK time is fine with me mate.

I'm just learning the best angle for camera and nice resolution, probably Full HD 👍 why the Fu** not It's a little painful process, go for a drive, record lap, upload to youtube, check the final quality, and so on and on. But when i crack this movies would be in great quality and more important they will be fast laps. So give me a day until Wednesday and we could meet any night for nice race in those devilish Carrera's

EDIT: Just had my races and was handed my backside to me on a plate by a very fast (and CLEAN) Darkos. My lack of time playing both the combo and shifty in general really told as I was comprehensively beaten. I believe a video of the race is on the way soon so perhaps we can forget some of the nonsense thats been going on here recently 👍

RULES
1) Strictly no assist in any shape or form abs best line all gone.
2) Nitrous is not permitted.
3) cars are capped to the use of tier 4 cars with any tune.

I've read those rules shortly after HOG post this thread, and I've been remember NO Assist like TC and SC and being on PRO mode as mandatory rule. But i Forgot to switch off ABS

i always use ABS but simply forgot that, this was banned too.

Three nice videos from our races are uploading as I'm posting this message (54 hours to Finnish uploading, that's can't be right)

So i don't know, probably HOG will remove me from duels. I'm just being honest right now. You will see on videos that i didn't switch that ABS off. My bad! Sorry for that.

Don't worry, you'd have beaten me easily. To be honest I'm not sure if I had ABS on or not either. I always have it set on 1 when playing GT5p (as do most people) so I may have had it on too. Looking forward to seeing the vids (not that I will feature too much in them )

By the way, I agree the carrera is a tricky beast but strangely I find cars like the works 370z and S2000 to be much harder to drive, wierd!

1. Well it's hard to tell if the owner is dead him self I'll hope that you guys don't mind if i try to pull this to the End. I just send a prv msg and ask his opinion. There is still two races between manny, stevo, arvore and femki. I believe that addictions was eliminated so HOG is in next round as he posted on first page. But if I'm wrong please correct me.

Very nice quality vid. Its amusing that in race 1 you were ahead of me off the line and I just flew off at T1 whereas in my view I was ahead of you and bumped into you at turn 1 which sent me off!!!

There was a fair amount of lag on my screen which is obviously why. Maybe this could explain some of these misguided accusations of cutting corners as you appeared to run wide on several from my view when it was obvious you hadn't really as your speed never dropped.

Just watched the video and I must say Darkos showed a lot of patience on the 1st turn at Autopolis. When a racer is coming in to hot to turn one it's hard to put on the brakes and wait for the racer to fly by. It's a split second decision which most racers won't make and end up getting T-boned...

That is true, from my view, we were side by side and I caught Darkos as he was on the inside line sending me into the gravel (my fault admittedly), there was definitely contact though. It was amusing to see the replay where Darkos was a long way ahead and I just didn't bother braking for the turn at all

Cars are closer together on the track because everyone's skill is nearly even. If the game situation is percieved differently by each driver incidents and misunderstandings are bound to happen, and there is no way to judge who is right and who is wrong! One game but two experiences, as i played with Mohamu today i could see him clearly and he's car didn't jump allover the track but when this occur. Now i know that they are collisions in this game i never would expect to happen.
