GTP Official GT3 Competition

Hello everyone. The start date for this comp is undecided at this point. I just wanted to make a sign-up thread for anyone who is interested in racing in the GTP Official GT3 Comp. Rules for this series are as follows and there will be editations to the rules as I see fit.

RULES

1. NO CHEATING
2. NO GRASS CUTTING
3. NO WALLBANGING/WALLRIDING
4. Try and stay on the track not everyone is 100% perfect
5. Sharkport/X-port replays are a prefered way of submitting times, I know that not everyone has one of these so for the series you will provide a RTI (Random Tech Inspection) of your race.
6. Mentioned above but SAVE ALL REPLAYS you will need them.

   RACES and QUALIFYING
   
   
   All races will be in the Arcade mode, using either garage cars with specified hp and mods, and the S-garge cars.
   Qualifying will be done in Arcade mode Free Run or Sim Mode Run and Setting with either the arcade cars (Free Run) or your garage cars (Free Run or Run and Setting). If you do not have Sharkport/X-port the RTI of Qualifying will be you posting/pm'ing me your settings, logger data, average speed for each section and your split times. For each race you will have 2 weeks to get your fastest 3 lap race time done.
   
   Let's have fun doing this comp while providing vigorious competition amongst the members here at this site.

Hey Zero, when do you think this will start up...I'd like to say yes but I don't want to put my hand up and find it clashes with some of the other comp's I'm in now. I hate DNF's but Jmr's would be first priority at the moment if I found they were to clash. Sorry to be a pain in the arse with the questions mate, but my time left over for GT3 is a lot less than it used to be!!!

I didnt want to make it clash with jmr's comp, since I'm in it as well, this comp will probably start after jmr's comp or right before the final round of jmr's comp.

i would do it but i dont really understand how you would see my times. im just a tad bit slow upstairs and not really a computer nerd. so if you want to tell me how i could get you my times in an english language ill think about signing up.

What other kind of information to you need TVRKing?

Well luff when you do a fast lap in GT3 the game gives you your best lap but when you do your lap you want to stay on the track as much as possible. Submitting times is say we use the Dodge Viper Team Oreca for the first round at Deepforest, you do you qualifying lap and you write down your best time, then you save the replay. You watch the replay and write down your 2 sector times. Then you back to the main menu and go to replay theater and you click on 'analyzer' and you write down all the split times from the analyzer and the average speed per sector which will be above the sector times. Then once you have written all that stuff down, you come on this site go to user cp then click on private messages and you PM me all the stuff u had written down. Hope this helps

Isnt Frentzey in JMR's comp? I think so, so you can beat him in there. I cant wait ron, another comp for us to battle it out. Now we got 2 of the 3 members of GRD racing, so mr. GVX how about u signing up too??????

Or am I just getting ahead and these will be the cars used through the comp and not just the first race .

This series will not start until after JMR's comp in mid-late May.
