Howz it going all? I hope great! Here's the skinny, I'm a long time GT fan. And I have been a 'reader' of the forums and GTP.net for a very long time. At times, I have even posted an opinion...more recently, motivated by my absolute joy of having GT5 in my hands, in just a tick over a month!! Like all of you, I've matured with the game. With time the game, for me, has become more of a simulator. Honestly, a Playseats and a G27, the best recommendation for the best simulator experience. For some reason, when I bought my PS3, I stopped playing GT4 and only geeked out on GT5P. In fact, shamefully I've went as far as turning those old PS2 games into Gamestop!! Hindsight, I should have kept at the very least GT4. Anyway, what can I tell you, I'm a putz! haha jk. Back to my thesis, I've played the ish out of GT5P. I even had to do it twice! Because my first PS3 had a lil incident, a.k.a. PS3gate.
I love motorsports!! Sure, I'll admit to perhaps not being the most mechanical person. But surely not a complete momo under the hood. So, you all are my peeps! :-) I like to think that I'm a decent driver. I've been lucky enough to run my cousins Datsun 510 racecar at Laguna Seca, epic! But that was before he dumped serious cash to make it go scary fast. But those opportunities are few and far between for those who don't live on fantasy island. If you know what I mean. The lone track event I took my '05 STI to, ended with having to buy new tires and brakes! But that experience did inspired me to get a few upgrades. :-)And that is why Kaz and PD are rockstars!! Because through their passion, brains, experience, intelligence, technology, etc..(dead horse beat)....have provided an alternative to getting track time without spending a few grand!! Surely not the same as the real deal, but if there is an itch, a good GT5P, soon to be GT5 session could curb that or K1 Speed, you can google that. GT5 looks great! PD will definitely sell more than 1. Can't wait to loose sleep, and hopefully race with some of you online!!!
Appreciation...,Jordan and each and every contributor to GTP...(even those who lack the same passion), I sincerely thank you! For the time, interest and shared passion. 👍 If by rare chance your ever in San Pedro,CA....cold beer isn't far!!!
