Nice job everyone!

Cheers,

Important notices:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Provisional" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware: disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS.)
Drivers who do not have a submitted lap posted in the results are not to post any information related to a laptime they might have achieved in the results thread. Any such posts will have the times removed.

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see replays for all indicated results. All replays are to be posted here.

Instructions on how to upload your replay can be found here - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3180607&postcount=2

Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Congratulations to all podium finishers!

I tried the combo early on and I liked it, but didn't have enough time last week. So ends a 7 week in a row participation. Oh well, Al, your record is safe for now...

Great job everyone. Congratulations to everyone that met their goals. fantastic time Juan Antonio! Lucas, way to edge me out. Great time. You too lefty and Mitch. Good finishes!

I've really enjoyed the combos I've been able to partake in. I had a .47x or .48x but missed my braking point and ran off into the grass. That would have put me in div 1 times again. Will have to go faster I suppose!! Hope you all had fun and see you in Daytona!

This was the most fun I have had in some time, congrats to all the podium winners 👍 Great job Wins and CR

Here is my requested replay

Thanks Vaxen for the quick results. 👍

Congrats Juan Antonio for the overall win, with a blistering T3. Well done Chris and Andrew for the overall podiums.
Took me quite a while to get T1, but watching your video helped, Chris. 👍

Quite an honor, to get the division win for the combo that I selected.:D Of course, I had a head start, but didn't start hitting 1'23.5's until Sunday, and over 1000 miles.:dunce:
Thanks to Jon Carlos for the motivation and collaboration. 👍 And congrats on your podium!
Dennis, we all know you are fast, and thanks for slowing up at the S/F line for me.

Amazing laps by Brandon and Lefty in D3, you guys took this combo and ran with it. 👍👍

Well done across the board. 👍

So it looks like Chris and I were not too far off D1 Gold pace! :D I'm quite happy with that. Big congrats to Juan Antonio for his first overall win in the WRS! It was gonna happen at some point. And what a sector 3 time! I thought mine was close to perfect! I was aiming for a 1'22.8, but happened to lose a tenth in the first turn and the long left-hander of sector 2. :(

Well done to all the other division winners and podiums. Especially Brandon. Can't wait to see you in D1 some day! Hopefully those Forza 3 skills finally come back to you. :) Replay will come after school.

Well, my first victory in the WRS. Has Although I do not like front wheel drive and am no good at making settings and II learned unwrap adjustment and tuning get me out to my liking, I've been enjoying this car in the end it was fun. 👍

Congratulations to all participants for the result and now on to the next WRS and thanks lucas, doodle ;)

Now that I have a little time before going to working then I'll put the repetecion

Nice job everyone, congrats on the win escama.

I don't think I'm ever going to figure out t3, I thought I was about a tenth off there, but yikes was I slow.

Congrats to all, and specially to whiskyecho 96: Close call, but you got me this time friend!!

What a week…and to think that I wasn’t going to even run this combo. Credit for the change of heart goes to Chris – once he’d sent me a car I felt compelled to try and do his generosity good service. Thanks mate 👍

Congratulations to Juan Antonio – that’s a scary T3 mate and I’m looking forward to watching the replay

Lucas, thanks for the props mate and congratulations on a great run and threading the needle to hook all the sectors together at the same time. Thanks for being my ‘running mate’ for this one, it was fun
Congratulations to Dennis for second in D2. For so long I thought/hoped I might win the division. It took me a while to get the hang of T1, but I was posting 32.0xx for days, just not on my submitted lap :banghead: T3 was a lottery and credit to Lucas for the guidance. My posted lap had my PB for T3, but I had four other laps all within 0.07s. Pleased to get my first podium since my win in week 53  (I just beat Lucas on that combo by the way - we really should go back to Monza again soon :sly:)…

Awesome job by Brandon and Lefty in pseudo-D3 :sly: Fantastic lap times by you both, and a heroic effort by Mitch. 1500 miles in any week is amazing, but with a broken hip is surely bordering on crazy! I hope you feel better soon mate 👍

Here’s my PAL replay. Easy check with no close calls. I know where I went wrong - first right in T2 was wide on entry and then stayed wide! Thanks to the admins for a surprisingly good combo 👍

No worries Jon, its just good to have you running with us again mate.

Big congratulations to Juan Antonio for his first win, and a pretty dominant sector 3 to finish it. Great job mate. 👍 Nice job chasing me down too Andrew - so close. 👍 Great battle in D2 this week - top job Lucas. 👍 A fine job also by Dennis and Jon. And a shout out for the D3 rockets this week too, Brandon and Lefty. 👍

Here's my video for this week. I left about 2 tenths out there but the temptation of the Mark IV was too much to resist... :sly:

Thanks, was really close, you had a much better T3.
Would be much more fun with some more Div 4 and 5 players taking part.

But i´m happy with my -0.226 handicap.

Congratulations to all winners and podiums. 👍

All three clean laps, correct times, tanks full and on correct tyres. Nice job. 👍

Congratz to all podiums and everybody else who reach there goals.

To be honest i expected more people dipping in the 22's. So a special congratz to the one who did. An other guys from spain who beat everybody. Must be Ramon's neighbor

Very close between Chris and Doodle

Lucus, Jon, Wins and myself did a pretty nice job as well. All 4 us within .103 :) Expected Lefty in between as well. Shame, but very good first two splits.

I have a bit of mixed feelings about my own result. I must be happy with the result be cause i never drive DF and a bit of FF hater. If you look it from that side, i did a good job finishing P2 in my div with a D2G lap time and pretty close to a positive handicap. On the other hand you always look up and with a theoretical fastest lap of 23.2xx, i'm disappointed. I know you almost never do your theoretical fastest lap but being .3 off is to much. I came very close to my theoretical fastest lap once during a seasonal event, only .05x off. Still proud on that lap btw only .504 of the winner, that was Ramon on a 1.29.xx lap. Just wanted to share it with you guys. Curious to that lap? (watched again myself :) )

Anyway i had big fun with this weeks combo and learned something again.

Replay will follow

Expected Lefty in between as well. Shame, but very good first two splits.

I'm right there w/ you, I just can't ever figure out how I can be competitive in the shows but always go down in flames on the hole card. I'm hoping the online combo racing will fix that. It's very frustrating for me.

Congratulations Juan Antonio, Chris and Doodle 👍👍👍 Well done on the other podiums as well, especially the guys far out in front of D3. And well done to JTV (Jon) for joining us in the week we were driving the car in his avatar :)

Thanks Carlos, appreciate the kind words. I'm not sure I would call it a heroic effort, but it certainly wasn't easy, I guarantee you that. I would say my final finish was based on heart more than skill this time around, because that is what it took to get the finish I did....NGU. I would say I'm like a race horse with a ruthless jockey on my back...only difference is, I'm the ruthless jockey as well.

Lucas and Lefty both very nice laps 👍

Mitch, I downloaded yours, but when I loaded onto PS3 it did not work. Maybe it is because I renamed as I had a file with same name on my memory stick. I don't know, if noone gets to it I can try again later.

Thanks Patrick! Nice time by you this week too, just a few tenths off D2 podium. 👍

Yes, that's the issue, you can't rename the BCUS...-RPLXXX folders. If you have two that are the same name you have to bring them into GT5 one at a time. 👎

Thanks for the encouragement. I had lots of time this week and it paid off. At this point I can not realistically compete with the upper D2 guys, so I am just trying for negative handicaps. Good to know about the file too, won't try that again.

Ah, I forgot to thank Patrick once more for the car. Much appreciated kind sir.

Here's my replay. :)

I'm right there w/ you, I just can't ever figure out how I can be competitive in the shows but always go down in flames on the hole card. I'm hoping the online combo racing will fix that. It's very frustrating for me.

I know what you mean. That hurt :ouch: I seem to have the habbit to focus to much on T1's in the beginning and at the end of the week i can't do the T1's anymore

I checked Bart's (Pasm) replay but i have my doubt's in T2, exiting the long left hander climbing the hill. I'm not sure if it's allowed to cross the line there. He clearly does. It's just how your interpretation of the rule, i think, i believe, i'm not sure  If it's allowed consider it a clean lap. And a nice one to watch 👍 either way

Here is my replay:

The white lines weren't boundaries anywhere on the track. Tarmac and rumble strips were the legal surfaces. Inside the last tunnel it was advisable to keep left tires on the white line because the actual legal boundary is just past the white line and is hard to see. In the area climbing the hill, I'm pretty sure white lines could be crossed but would have to double-check that later.

Thanks for checking this out Dennis 👍

Thanks for clearing that up. At the exit of that double left hander, I took the tarmac right of the white line as part of the track and the gray concrete as *not* being part of the track. But if you'd want to run on that with your left tires you'd be in the wall for a big accident

Congratulation to all division winners and podium placers.

I had been quite disappointed by my pace all week in one of my favourite cars, but after yesterdays racing I'm now happy with my lap :sly:.

It helps when you kick your 2 girlfriends out of the car before going for hotlaps. :sly:
