    [*]2 - Nissan Coupe GT 370 @ reverse
    [*]3 - Skyline Coupe / Tuned @ forward

    Or
    [*]Coupe 370 GT '07 @ forward (time=x’xx.xxx) + Coupe / Tuned @ reverse (time=x’xx.xxx) = Final time.

Standard Clean OLR Rules:

  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times

  • no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty

Thread rules:

The following information cannot be discussed in this thread (they can, however, be discussed on MSN or via other private conversation methods):

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 42 Submission ) to (Vaxen):
Please take notice: you have to send 3 times in your PM

  • you can submit only once
  • please include in your submission PM your division, GTP_Tag
  • the deadline is Monday 24 August 11:59pm GMT
  • if you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.
Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Good luck,
OLR Admin Team

Neat. Look forward to that, hope I'll have some times tomm. night.

Ok good test, it will take a bit time to get a best combo. I hope not 4 times:lol:

First Splits:

Skyline Coupe 370 GT:

T1:28.167
T2:45.723

Skyline Coupe Tuned:

T1: 14.012
T2: 29.395

It looks like only 2 times to me, one car forward and the other car reverse, in anyway you choose. Not an uncommon theme in years past.

Looks fun, I'm still messin with the Lotus though and the gt5p net is down for update :(

I'm once again referring to this GT4 Week 121 leaderboard.

That way the leaderboard will work just fine.

Sofar I've tested the N3 370 forward combo while waiting for the gt5p net update to finish. :ouch:
(Had sheduled my 2nd Lotus run for today, but doh!)

MadMax

Aaarrgghhh!!!.......This week is frustrating. I just had a go and out of 10 laps I only had 2 clean laps. The car feels floaty and keeps sliding all over the place. Not to mention the unconvincing auto gearbox. London is my favourite track, but this car really doesn't suit this track at all. Combos like these really makes me want to get my wheel and chuck the DS3 in the bin.

Anyway, rant over, here are some abysmal splits:

Skyline Coupe 370GT
T1 28.715
T2 46.759

Skyline Tuned
T1 14.218
T2 29.367

That's the way I'd do it MadMax 👍

I'll probably run both cars both ways for quite some time but I'll only post one set of splits for each direction ;)

Nissan Skyline Coupe 370 GT '07 / N3 - London Reverse
T1: 27.798
T2: 45.240

Concept By GT Skyline Coupe / Tuned / S2 - London Forward
T1: 13.841
T2: 28.854

I wonder wich of the two options is the fastest to go with?

Nissan Forward - Tuned Reverse or Tuned Forward - Nissan Reverse.

Although I don't think it will be a big difference.

In my case it will be:
Skyline stock on forward.
Skyline tuned on reverse.

Nissan Skyline N3's /Forward
0'15.966
0'33.679

Splits for the skyline tuned on reverse coming later tonight.

First attempt, both at London Reverse:

Standard:
T1 - 27.857
T2 - 45.146

Tuned:
T1 - 24.822
T2 - 39.941

I honestly couldn't pick a better track/car combo for me than London Reverse and the tuned Skyline :D

Ingram, i was adding your splits to the board when I noticed you ran both reverse, I need one forward times to update ;)

Edit: Board Updated

I also want the LUXY experts to tell me if I did something wrong with this week's board :odd:

And for LIL_KACHING I'll update you times as soon as you try the 2nd car.

And to make things clear for easy board updates, please everyone make sure you're posting your Nissan Skyline Coupe 370 GT '07 1st then the Tuned one....

 all

Edit2: Ok I'm loosing my mind here  we've to keep it clear when posting the time I already mentioned the car order but I forgot to mention the track direction. :grumpy: Neil and Legend-1 I assumed that you ran the 370 reverse and the tuned as forward, correct me if I'm wrong

The Tuned Skyline is loads of fun 👍
The 370 GT handles surprisingly well on N3's
although it's hard to keep it from brushing up against
the barriers.

Not too fond with the standard coupe on reverse. Still not sure if ill stick with this combo. I'll try and switch it up tomorrow and see if i get better results.

Love the Skyline Tuned, great drift car :D

I personally have found this way to be the fastest, but I guess it may be different for everyone.

Yeah I will try both and see what happens :).
Btw we do have to use Pro Physics right? I doesn't say so, so might be confusing for some people. Especially if somebody takes part for the first time.

Hi :),

Well... heres my times of the second attempt at London:

Yes,we always use pro.
Normally it is in the race description but this format was copied from a race I made for GT4 so the pro part was no issue back then.
I will edit it in the first post.

From sunny England it looks like you're doing a fine job to me 👍

What I usually do in a combo like this is add some instructions in the new combo thread concerning posting for the leaderboard so that the community knows what to do to make it possible for the board updaters to do the Luxy work.

Hi,

Had a brief run at this last night. First splits:

Skyline Coupe 370 - Reverse:

T1 - 0'28.440
T2 - 0'46.135

Skyline Coupe/Tuned - Forward:

T1 - 0'14.141
T2 - 0'29.573

Enjoying this combo 👍

After I restored a backup Haitham spent many many hours to get Luxy back to how it looked before, and with very little help from my side it is now back.
The bad news, however, is that the board for this week has to be redone and that week 1 thru 5 of GTP_WRS is gone.

I guess someone will do this week soon enough, and if not I'll do it from my holiday address
