They didn't last for very long, because of verifiability concerns. As I understand it, there appeared to be a lot of suspicious times being uploaded - i.e., people were making up lap times - and Jordan didn't want to implement something as restrictive as the requirement of a Max Drive replay, so he just removed the leaderboards. Cyberscore and db.gtrp.de are probably your best bets for finding lap records (which are really kind of passé now that GT4 is five and a half years old
