Hey guys, I'd like to join...

I'd like to join. I have been playing singleplayer only and haven't touched online yet. I think I am going to race in all disciplines.

I am on PS3 and use DFGT to play.

Would be cool to start my online career straight in a club livery. I have already applied to the club in Racenet. Seems like my PSN friend wickenex is the top player of this club. :)

Much better than the one I had for my old team.
 
It was SNAIL Autosport. It only ever got 1 other member, and when I left the league, I cut off my ties with them. That meant "making room" on my friends list and disbanding the Racenet club.

I know for a fact that the S.N.A.I.L. events are hosted on this very site. If you'd like to do this, I'm okay with you sort of integrating your club into mine, as additional members of GTPlanet Racing.
 
I know they are, I was a part of it from January up until my frustration led me to quit just a few days ago.

It doesn't matter anymore, SNAIL Autosport doesn't exist anymore.
 
Why does the Club Livery keep changing? Just after release it was red/white, then it was black/red/yellow, last night I checked it was white/blue. I thought the whole point of a livery is to represent your club identity? Not much point if it keeps changing, might as well race with your own livery...

TakFR is my actual SteamID but does it matter if my name in game is different?
 
I think the club livery would look nice with silver wheels. I have 2 cars now (!), and black wheels look out of place on them.

True I guess. But it's annoying having to change the liveries on all your cars once you bought a few of them (I have 10 already). And if you don't change then your XP winnings won't help improve the club's rank. Some continuity would be nice.
 
Finding a set of sponsors that suit each discipline would be good (then have one general one to fill the last slot). Not all of us have Cat. B Tourers.
 
I actually only bought the 2nd car I have, a 12C GT3. It does look stunning in the current livery, but I'll try out the other livery options and see what that's like.

Maybe I'll even post a picture of it in that tacky arrow livery that was in the first Grid. :P

If you use the Racenet Club Livery on a car you own, the [GTP] tag automatically shows up next to your username.

Also, that's how you contribute XP to the club, and help us (hopefully) climb the rankings.

Okay so I tried this the other day, and it didn't work. Does anyone have any ideas? Because I seem to be up the creek without a paddle on this one! :lol:

Don't worry about that, that's just a bug on their platform. I get that a lot despite winning the races and contributing XP to the club.
 
Thanks Wicken, I thought it was weird that I was getting points on the leader board and the the message that I contributed 0 to the team.

Can someone give me a hand with this please? I'm trying to apply the club livery to my car, by going to the 'Edit Livery' option on online mode, before selecting 'Set Racenet Club Livery'. But it never works. What's going on? :confused:

Ok, I just got the ever popular corrupt file save! Can I start a new save and still play? What happens to my stats?

Did you backup?

And, guys, is there any symptoms before the game save becomes corrupt? I did backup my save but I was wondering if I could prepare myself for that.
