I know Radio 2 is virtually yesteryear's Radio 1 but I'm shocked AIWFCIY has attained classic golden oldie status. Perhaps I'm naive to think it still counts as the current thing because of its limpet-like presence in 2020s seasonal hit parades.

Radio 2 started playing all the Xmas songs this week. When I'm driving long distances I always have either Radio 2 or Radio 5 on for traffic reports. Unfortunately I think Mariah is now in the same exalted company as Slade, Wizard and Bing Crosby now when it comes to favourite Xmas songs.

My nine year old son told me he wants to participate even though he said he was Carreyd last week. But said he wasn't official until after Thanksgiving 🤣 So after that he told me that he was going to beat like last year🤣

I'm up for letting him back in. Your boy does have a valid point I suppose. Plus a bit of friendly family rivalry always makes it more fun 😂😂

A few years ago my wife told me to stay in the shower for a few extra minutes because the song was on the radio.

Yesterday I was in the bathroom and my wife was calling me into our master bathroom. When I got done I asked what she wanted.

I forgot to register before, but I'm checking in to say I'm not out yet. Last year, it took some wonderful site features to eliminate me, I'm keen to see if I get so close again.
Edit: that wasn't last year, it was 2022! I suppose I was still getting over the horror...
