Round 8 is in the books, and this event has really shaken things up a bit in GTPLMS competition.
Qualifying
For the first time in LMS competition, all four classes had a different driver take pole. P1 saw RACECAR take pole, while P2 had ICallShotgun take point. GTS had Ballstothewall win pole, and GT had GTXDriver win his pole.
Race
The races were a bit of a mix-up. Penalties galore were handed out in each division, and a massive crash by ICallShotgun in P1 took him out of the running for possibly the season.
RACECAR took his second win in a row, as Delfino was handed a late-submission penalty.
ICallShotgun took wins in both P2 and GTS as weekly favorites Delfino and Drew22 had troubles with penalties and mechanicals respectively.
GT had a changing of the guard as the crafty veteran oldphart takes his first win of the season.

Congratulations to all winners, and finishers this week in a very weakly attended event. Hopefully with the DOUBLE POINTS available at both Petit Le Mans and the Monterey Sports Car Championships, attendance should be up.

Speaking of Points, the Championships have taken a huge turn this week with the mysterious absense of Drew22, GT points have tightened up as teammate Ballstothewall climbs to within 4 points of the lead. GTS had the tenacious ICallShotgun attain the lead as Drew22 falters. P2 has ICallShotgun slightly raising his lead against Delfino, while P1 has RACECAR climb to 2nd behind Delfino as ICallShotgun slides to 3rd.
