GTPLR.CO.UK Clio Cup ready to go!Full

As our GT5 series draw to a close we are looking to continue on in to GT6, we've been running for 2 years starting mainly with friends from the Marketplace here on GTPlanet.

We are a friendly group, and welcome anyone who races clean and fair. We have events running Monday, Wednesday and Saturday usually at 22:00 UK time. We race late in the UK as we have a few US, Australian and Brazilian members.

Most series are stock road cars, with a few TC & RM (if GT6 allows). We also have a few random races during the week if a few of us are online. All we ask for is clean racing, you don't have to be the quickest. We have a good number of series and various ways of evening the field, either putting the faster drivers on harder tyres or running multi-class events.

First GTPLR GT6 Series is planned! We will be running the Renault Clio RS '11 in a 7 event series starting on 4th janurary, and every saturday after that.

Welcome to the GTPLR Clio RS Cup​

This will be our first series on GT6, we'll be keeping it simple to begin with. Using the Renault Clio RS '11 we will be racing on all the new world circuits GT6 has to offer.

Starting January 4th and running for 7 Saturdays, in STOCK Clio's on Sports Hard tyres. Paint your car as you wish, oil change is advised at this point. ABS 1 and driving line will be allowed, all other aids turned off. The schedule is as follows...

Brands Indy 2x10 4/1/14
Ascari Full 2x8 11/1/14
Motegi Full 2x8 18/1/14
Bathurst 2x8 25/1/14
Willow Springs Full 2x8 1/2/14
Silverstone Indy 2x15 8/2/14
Spa 2x8 15/2/14​

As we can now set up free runs, qualifying and race start times. We can start on time each night, no excuses. The following schedule will be run on each race night-

Free Run @ 22:00
Qualifying @ 22:30
Race Start @ 22:45​

We will run the points system as in the BTCC, as well as 1 point for pole and 1 point for fastest lap during the race. Points will be-

1st - 20
2nd - 17
3rd -15
4th - 13
5th - 11
6th - 10
7th - 9
8th - 8
9th - 7
10th - 6 and so on....

GTPLR.co.uk "Time Killer" Races are usually one race to pass some time. They vary greatly from classic cars to nascar, from hot hatches to rally cars.
