Power: 287 BHP Displacement: 2997 cc Weight: 1230kg Power/Weight: 4.286

Cool. Handles well, goes quickly enough and the stock suspension is actually adequate as it's a Type R rather than a base model NSX.

Sub Zero. Any criticism I can make of this car (or any NSX for that matter) is minor in comparison to the bonuses. :)

You have to be mentally handicapped to say uncool

Sub-Zero!! Gorgeous car, handles sweet and this car looks epic in the nice white..

The older Honda's don't suit me. And I don't care if it's a Type R, uncool.

Cool, great car and all that, but comparing this to other cars that do deserve to be in the Sub-Zero department, this one seems to be lacking something.

I love the styling of this car. It still sucks that it's so expensive in ratio to how much power you get out of it but this is one of the cars the term "Sexy" applies to.

there's the quote of the year LoL:sly:!

the NSX is a great car i was a little let down by Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear 'farewell', could have been done better but at the moment i can't think of a better track than Laguna Seca to send a car off on. also i was so let down by Honda discontinuing their super car after so many good years. back to the years quote above, as a die hard Honda enthusiast i do love the older Honda's and fail to see how a somebody with a Honda avatar doesn't :dunce:. i played around with my DA9 this morning and did a little weight reduction in the trunk and the trunk lid itself, next is backseat removal.

also SVX, great picture by the way let's not forget that. i LOVE the Type R's ol' school NSX's heck just the older model year NSX's in general. the later models are just jaw dropping gorgeous and absolutely stunning performance!

Cool car. Exotic, clean lines. Never seen one on the road.

Ha I just saw that episode of Top Gear. Anyone try to beat Clarkson's time of 1'41.148 with the NSX (type R?) on Laguna Seca?

I see a few every now and again, I can't say more than 8. There's a local silver and black one that everybody knows, minus the body kit it's a hot car. haven't seen a Type R yet though. I've beat his time yes :sly:, but I'm going to run it again to have a time to post. I'll do a Type R for the heck of it too.

STOCK Honda '01 NSX Laguna Seca Run
1'36.151

I think Clarkson's time was 1'41 and change no the PS2 and 2'02 in real life. I actualy enjoyed the drive in a stock NSX the tranny is great and the deep throaty sound is superb. going to get a stock NSX Type R now.

STOCK Honda NSX Type R '92
1'35.565

The suspension felt alot better in the '92 Type R even though it's an older version of the R. Guess the numbers proved it too.

STOCK Honda NSX Type R '02
1'32.662*

The 2002 NSX is by far the better feeling and handling NSX's of the three and stock is the quickest as well. I'm still stuck on the '92 Type R though, overall in personal opinion is the better performer.
