GTPSP car upgrades

I was just watching IGN's review of the game and i really didnt give heck about it until the guy in the review mentioned something about the lack of mods and upgrades for the cars in GTPSP. Is this only a car collector game? I mean i really want to mod, tune and upgrade cars.

Well, the "Quick Tune" option found in GT5P is present, but yes, there are no car modifications (like exhaust and sports brakes) found in the game. Besides, it's more about racing than collection, isn't it? What's the point of that 2100 lb. and 800 hp. Chevelle if you don't drive it around, right?

Are u kidding me?? for me i'll be just driving specific cars like BMWs and Ferraris and some Chevys like the ZR1, new Camaro if available. So i would really love to mod them. The only thing i didn't like about GT5 Prologue is that it lacks madifications. I mean if it had modifications i could wait for GT5 one more year.

Yep, it SUCKS, making the car that you like better is one of the great things about GT (which was why lots of other games did the same after).

yes I agree, the reason why I kept playing gt2 is because of all the upgrades and race modifications! I would love to see that back in GT5 but it's not going to happen...

Have you been following the threads in the GT5 forum??? Of course GT5 will have modifications and upgrades.... Just like we always have in GT and probably better than before... It is a pity though that GTPSP tuning is so limited...
