Just to give people a heads up;
When exiting the pits at Daytona road course, be sure to stay left and use the extended pit lane. Join the track after turn 1.
DONT JOIN THE TRACK IN TURN 1
If anyone is unsure , please join pal1 and ask a steward to show you. I will post a YouTube link later.

I think the RX7 '04 at 70kg ballast (mine) should have 525PP, not 524PP.

Couple of other points.
Currently in the total standings, people are still getting the bonus points for the deducted 2 races. I think all points should be deducted for the 2 races not counted in the final standings.

I alos think Paginas should get 10kg and Falc 20kg from Monza as Paginas will most likely finish 4th in the event due to the tire DQ in the sprint race.

Turn 1 is one of the most difficult corner in GT5 as is. If getting cars exiting the pits in mix too, its disaster written on the wall.

You are right, sorry. Measured it on my own car but forgot I had decreased aero. Car specs updated now.

Yeah I also thought so, but the seasoned guys taught me otherwise :)

No, ballast is always determined from the provisional results, so they can be determined immediately after the race. You can not wait until wednesday knowing what you have. It also means that if you cheat your way to a good finish you are punished doubly.

So that is actually a very conscious decision.

If I may add, everyone should practice driving that pit exit lane.

The first few times you will likely damage your car on the wall!

Makes perfect sense.
With the ballast, it is awarded on provisional results, then time penalties and DQ's are added 👍

Points total is the final score 👍

That is why you are at top, even though your race points are slightly below maxking, but you have many more bonus points.

Round 7 points are still only provisional (until all issues are closed), that is why the championship standings only go to round 6 yet.
 
Blah, I hate this ballast rule/

For the last race can we scrap it or at least half it?

This is my second to last race I will be doing in this championship, and it has to be a NSX track again! OK8 will win here, you heard it here first! x
 
Moaning over NSX tracks is one thing, if we could just have a similar amount of cheering when we get to Monaco ;)

There was some talk long ago about scrapping all ballast for the last race, can not remember if that is the rule or how it ended.
 
There will probably not be any Twin Ring Motegi in 2 weeks.

I'm still all for Tsukuba. Maybe we should take a vote.

I'm with you. Tsukuba. The cars with more ballast won't have a long straight to deal with.
 
Nono Papa, Tsukuba Non! Trial Mountain would be interestingly cool, but if World Circuit only, then Tokyo is almost called for.

It has to be Suzuka. We're [the staff] currently debating what the track should be in an auxiliary message board.

No.
After the Monaco race, there is 1 more regular season round. It will be round 10 and we are just trying to decide where to race for it.
