SERIES LOGO.png

So there's countless racing series focusing on GT3 cars and endurance racing, how about we sit back and enjoy some other things? This will be a monthly event series where a touge track from course creator is selected, and an event is ran.

The way it will works is there will be a set category for cars, similar to how the GT6 car show lobbies work. The winner of the event can choose what manufacturer, country, drivetrain, minimum HP, minimum weight, etc for the next event. The event will have brackets system, where eventually the two best driver of the weekend can duke it out for the overall win. Placement in the qualifier brackets will be completely random.

The Touge Championship spans over 6 events. After six event, the driver with most overall victories will take home to championship. If there is a tie, the tie-breaker will be a another run, 1v1. Between each 6-event season is a one month break.

General
1.1: All participants must be in the lobby to participate.
1.2a: Cars must follow the regulations. Violators will be warned.
1.2b: First is a warning, and if it is ignored, the participant will be disqualified.
1.3: Mics will be disabled, to boost bandwidth.
1.4: Assists are not allowed. Only ABS.
1.5: Driving line will be disabled.

During Race
2.1a: Minimal contact is allowed.
2.1b: Dirty contact such as ramming, blocking or brake checking will result in a DQ.
2.1c: If there is a legitimate accident (stops both cars), and an apology, the race will be ended, and re-ran after the next race.
2.1d: If the victim feels the driver is using dirty contact to win, then he/she must report it so the marshal(s) know to DQ the driver.
2.2: If your opponent pulls away and you cannot catch up regardless of what you do, you may forfeit to keep things rolling.
2.3: If you completely wipeout and it ruins your race, that's it. You're done. Touge, bro :sly:.
2.4a: 'Functional' drifting can be done to help with corner speeds downhill, and it is allowed.
2.4b: Drifting around a corner for the sake of drifting is discouraged, but there will be no penalty if your opponent isn't affected directly.

Car Choice
4.1a: Must follow given category & regulations.
4.1b: Violators will be warned to switch cars, and if there is no cars that can be homologated before your run, you will be disqualified.
4.1c: You can 'retro-fit' spare cars, like you do at seasonal events. Can't guarantee competitiveness.
4.2: The known OP cars will be banned. No LCC, Chaparral VGT, etc.
4.3: No modifying or changing cars after pre-run inspection. Violators will be warned.
4.4: NO RACECARS! Only modified street cars!

Player Etiquette
5.1: Attacks directly toward other members will be met with ban if there is no apology.
5.2: Teasing other drivers is okay if you're joking around.
5.3: When racing, do not be a maniac. Don't block excessively, and if your opponent is on the inside, give way.
5.4: Immature acts of retaliation after a loss will be met with a temporary ban, unless an apology is given.
If anybody disconnects during the event (as in when there is racing), then they have a chance to come back before their next race. If they don't make it, it will be postponed as the last race, and if you still don't come back, your opponent gets an automatic victory.

Pre-Run
PR1: All cars will load on track.
PR2: Everyone checks if they can see everyone.
PR3: Marshals inspect the participants' cars.
PR4: Brackets are organized by random.
PR5: First two racers line up behind the start line next to each other, like a drag race.
PR6: Race started ghosts, the two racers take off and race.

Qualifier Runs
QR1: Qualifier runs will be only one heat.
QR2: Winner of the match will be the one who crosses the finish first.
QR3: Winner will continue to next bracket, and the loser can either stay and watch, or leave and continue with their day.
QR4: Winner can stay on track and wait, or go to wait in the lobby screen to watch. Find something to do.

Semi Finals
SF1: Winners rejoin track or go back to start line.
SF2: Races will now be done in 3 heats.
SF3: First race will be going forwards, second in reverse, and final (if needed) going forward.
SF4: Those who forfeit their race (see rule 2.2) will lose the heats all together, winner continues on.
SF5: The two winners must stay on track and wait for their next race. Do not leave the track.
SF6: Loser can either stay and watch, or leave and continue their day.

Final Run
FR1: Two final racers go to the pit entry and wait, it will be a rolling start.
FR2: The leader will be chosen at random.
FR3: Leader heads off at 40mph (65kph), chaser follows to the side, behind the bumper. Like a grid start.
FR4: When the rolling start formation is correctly done and maintained, the event host will honk, and the race is on.
FR5: After the first run, the roles will switch, and it will also be a rolling start going the other way on the track.
FR6: Same procedure; once the correct formation is achieved, event host sounds horn for race start.
FR7: Once winner is declared, the event is over. You may carry on to do whatever.

Winner's Choice

WC3: The event winner has 48 hours to choose the regulations for the next event. Regulations must be posted on this thread.
