GTWC B-spec not working

At the moment I don't have time to A-spec it because exams so I've tried B-specing it with the following cars:
Mercedes AMG CLK-GTR Race car (fully souped-up) 4th overall
Zonda Race car (fully souped-up) 4th overall
Toyota Minolta 88C-V Race car (fully souped-up 2nd overall

I've tried it with the toyota 3 times now and one time was only 2 points behind the sauber. It pisses me off because I've done everything that most forums say to do and the only reason I even get first on some of the races is because the other cars pit in.

I am using S1 tires and never pit in.

Hepl Please

Could you please tell us some things, like your B-Spec skill and what is the main area of trouble? These could help in solving your problem.

And last, but not the least: why are you using S1 tires? Are you sure that you don't mean R1? :odd: There is no sense in using sports tires as the others are using racing slicks but I hope this is a typing error.

But if the races are usually close, take my tip and qualify first in as many races as possible. The B-Spec driver will have a much easier job then. :)

Here is my method.
Win the Nurburgring 24hour endurance race then use the F1 car to B-spec the **** out of the GTWC 👍
Easy win!

Hes right, I hope that you are NOT using sports, if so, they do not have as much grip as R1's.
Pleas list your B-spec skills and maybe your setting of your minolta if you wish.

It was a typo I do mean racing tires.(R1)
My B-spec Skill is: Overall -7141
Machine - 81
Course - 71
Battle - 70
And I have never tinkered much with setting and I'm using factory.

Judging from that, I'd suggest that you drive the car to the pole position (or at least to a better position than the last one) and then let the B-Spec do the job. The advantage of running on a free track is huge, usually at least five seconds faster than driving in traffic. 👍

Ok, I know this sounds kinda dumb but how do I get a better starting position?
I think I is practice but everyone is about a lap ahead and I never get a better position.

PS - I have tried 2 more times and once I only lost by 1 ****ing point.(almost kicked TV when the opponent passed me on the last corner)

Practice is also qualifying - you need to drive a faster practice lap than your opponents. Their first lap is almost always very slow so it is a good idea to set a good time on your first lap. The split times that show up tell you how much slower/faster you were that the fastest opponent - you'll work it out.

Also, the Sauber is one of the fastest cars in this class so exit the series and re-enter until you get a lineup without it.

You can also exit (not quit) a series, go to your garage, save the game and go back to the series between races - if you loose the last race reload your saved game (restart PS2) and Bob's your uncle!
