I'm halfway through the game and is stuck in GTWC. I just can't win any of the races in GTWC. I used a 1000hp++ AMG CLK and also 1000hp++ 2j, but still can;t manage to keep up with all the rival cars. Is there any way i could easily win this race? Is there any car and any setting to defeat those rival cars. I had tried my best to tune the AMG but i just feel it's way too hard to outperform the cars in the GTWC. So, help please.:)

Easily? No. GTWC is one of the trickier series. However, we can help you.

Power is nothing without control. I suspect your problem doesn't lie in straight lines, but in corners and your tyres. And that probably comes from having too much power - you're going far too fast approaching the corner to allow you to slow and turn properly, losing you time on entry to and during the corner. And scrubbing your tyres.

Detune that AMG to stock levels. Strap R1 (racing super hard) tyres to the front and R2 (racing hard) tyres to the rear and come into the pits at exactly half race distance, whether you think you need to or not (except Tokyo - you can do that on one set) - if you need to pit during the race, don't wait until the tyres are going red. This will save you upwards of 10s per race.

Also, have a look in our race reports forum - there's many examples of GTWC threads in there, with cars and tunes people have used to succeed here.

Nice reply Famine.👍

Also you can look in the 200 points thread - either the beginner and professional or the stock car.

You can take a lot of information from there and modify it to suit yourself. If you are not interested in maximum points, try a r390 with no ballast.

Also choosing the right line-up will assist bigtime.
