In the event of the death of my 7870LE I've been looking at new cards, this GTX760 is a bit reduced on Amazon.

I'm not fussed about ATI or Nvidia, I've had good experiences with both, though I probably won't go VTX3D again after the last card. Gigabyte are pretty reliable, aren't they? The motherboard in my other PC is Gigabyte and that has survived for 6-7 years at least.

In the meantime I'm unlikely to use the 4GB, I'm only on 1920 x 1080 at the moment, but I do want to invest in a new monitor upgrade at some point this year, a bit of future proofing for not a lot more money sounds pretty good to me.

Anyone got this card or other 760s?

A 760 is a very good card for its price. It's pretty much a go-to starter card for anyone wanting to build a gaming PC. I don't have it myself but I know a few people who do, and said that they can play games like Black Flag or even Crysis 2 well at 1080p @ 60fps with relatively demanding settings on. Of course it'll struggle if you crank everything up on those games, but the 760 is enough to provide a great experience in pretty much everything. As for the 4 GB memory, it won't be really worth it unless you either run multiple screens or play at higher resolutions (the latter will most likely be too much for the 760).

The Gigabyte version you chose may be a bit louder than other non-reference 760s because of a triple-fan cooling solution, but at the same time it's the coolest 760 compared to Asus, Evga...

I own the MSI GTX 760 4GB and it's a pretty good card. Will run everything that I have thrown at it (Far Cry 3, Battlefield 4) on ultra settings with stable FPS. I'll have a picture attached just so you can see the games I have which can all play on top settings. Just like you, I am saving up for a triple monitor setup which uses a lot of RAM. Going to get a GTOmegaRacing rig with the triple screen stand as well as 3 x 24" monitors. When I bought the card from Scan.co.uk (really good company btw), it came with AC4 & Splinter Cell Blacklist although I'm not sure if that offer is still running. I think if you are going to use 3 monitors for the usual AAA games, you do have to turn the settings down (although I'm sure how much because I don't currently own three monitors). However if you are going to use them for driving sims (like I will) it should be great from what I've heard.

I would go with a 4gb card just in case you decide to get another one. I don't think a 760 would use high enough settings to need 4 gb but two of them would. Titanfall uses. Almost 4gb at 1080 maxed so maybe games are going to start needing more VRAM.

Well, I'm unlikely to double up on cards any time soon, thanks for the feedback though.

@HammerBlaster Yes, that offer isn't available but I can get Daylight with it
