You can tell I've spent too long working with SEN kids.

'Cos it's the Nissan CUBE EX (FF/CVT) '02

To be fair, quite a few cars have the transmission in their names (4x4 and the like) but not many have the "gearbox" too. So I expect Famine is correct on this one.

Nope!
Sorry guys I was meaning the basic type of transmission

Alfa Romeo 166 2.5 V6 24V Sportronic?

Or the 1998 Nissan SKYLINE SEDAN 350GT-8 2002?

You should have worded your question better then - or done some research.

The car contains CVT in its name. Continuously Variable Transmission - a basic type of transmission.

here's one: Which car has it's engine placement wrong in GT4? (i.e. it's listed as Front Engine, Rear Wheel Drive, whereas the real life version doesn't come in Mid Engine, Rear Wheel Drive.)

I'm pretty sure there's only one in the game, and hopefully they will fix it for GT5 if it's in.

Sorry, I gave the wrong example, fixed, now.

You want to perhaps wait until you've actually guessed one correct at all?

It would be the Toyota MR2 Spyder (6-Speed Sequential Manual Transmission) '02 would it not?

You beat me to it. However, I don't think it's the answer SVX intended, because for some reason, its name is totally different in the PAL version: Toyota MR2 V Edition '02.

Doesn't this discussion sort of belong in this thread?

Austin, the mods seem cool with this new thread, so let's let it fly.

I haven't the foggiest on this one. I was gonna say the Audi TT 1.8. Problem is, that answer would be the opposite of the one you're looking for. In effect, the car is listed as an AWD, but it's actually FWD in both GT3 and GT4, and therefore not a Quattro. But they DO make AWD TTs of course.

So you've got two correct answers to your question, but they're both wrong?

Research is win.

Ok a clue,It is the manufacturer and it Starts with "Auto"

Neither the Auto Union nor the Autobianchi seem to be the correct answer, but maybe I'm just ignorant about what car names mean.

well....there's the Audi Auto Union V16 Type C Streamline.

The Mazda Autozam AZ-1

and the Autobianchi.

those are the only cars that start with "Auto" and technically, that's not a transmission type as you can decide if you want automatic or manual.

You own a manufacturer? I'd like to see some proof of that please! ;)

You've had 2 correct answers, both cars with transmission type in their names, as they appear in GT4, which was, I believe, the initial question.

If this thread is just going to turn into an "everyone post something until we figure out what the heck SVX is actually thinking of" thread then it's going to find itself of a very short road to Closedville pretty soon.

If you're going to post a question in future, assuming anyone ever manages to figure out yet another correct answer to you question and that correct answer actually matches the correct answer that you have, then please, please, please, post a clear, well researched question with a definitive answer. (Or at least if there's more than 1 possibility, then ask for all the possible answers. ;))

Ok sorry and about this part I must of not write the right thing.

Not to mention the Autobacs Sportscar Laboratories Garaiya and the Autobacs Sportscar Laboratories Autobacs Race Team Aguri Garaiya (which has Auto twice in its name).

As I said, research is the friend of anyone making up a question.

YAY! I won!

Now, can anyone guess my car? The car that's has the wrong drivetrain/engine listed. (Remember the drivetrain/engine placements are MR, FF, FR, RR, FAWD, MAWD and RAWD [Porches and RUFs are the main Rear Engine All Wheel Drive models)

I'll give you all a big hint: It's the only car in it's region (i.e. America, Britian, Spain, etc...)
