HP sucks, the make crap and have crap support.
ASUS is good, so is Acer.
You just said the most blasphemous thing "Acer is good"?
Acer is horrible
HP are good computers in australia, and due to our consumer laws they will help you even after your warranty has run out.
In Australia Asus are good PCs, but they will NOT sell you parts for it even if it is out of warranty.
If you want it repaired you send it in to their service center.
HP IS the devil. It is opposite over here.
HP is devil and Acer is decent.
Ain't that the standard price?Black Friday/Cyber Monday

And HP makes some damn good stuff. They just don't sell it at Best Buy. Their consumer goods are MUCH different than their business line. Enough to be from different companies.
Please forgive me for this being my budget anyway i bought the Hp if it turns out to be good if not whatever could always save for anotherAt that price point, it really doesn't matter which brand. a 400-dollar laptop is crap.
