So I was running some QM at Tokyo Reverse with a Ford GT when this caught my attention:

Now this QM is supposed to be OEM cars but that's definitely a custom paint job...

My question is how did this guy manage to get a customized car into this race? What else is modified in this car? :odd:

It's not a hack he just painted another colour, maybe a colour shift from TVR.
If you Searh for Exclusive GT6 paint chips database it has a list of paint chips and what cars they are from.

This QM we're supposed to use an OEM car so painting it is not an option

Looks like 'Blu Mirabeau' to me, which is a select-able choice when purchasing a 458. 👍

I don't think it's Blu Mirabeau because this paint looks more like a color shift instead of a metallic finish. I'm pretty sure Ferrari doesn't come painted like this from factory

I wanna know how he gets through a race with his car looking like that?

Mine look like this after turn 1!!!

The Ferrari started from pole and since its pretty OP among those cars in this race he can take off and avoid all the mayhem on turn 1

I guarantee you does come painted like that, the 'Blu' paints from the Ferrari dealership are a pseudo color-shift paint and do look two toned as the lighting reflects from them. 👍

Go and take a look at them in gallery view. 💡

Well here is a F12 in blu mirabeau. If there is any color shifting is from light blue to dark, not purple to blue as the OP

Well the fact of the matter is PD may have over-exaggerated the effect of the 'Blu' paints and the pics in the OP are how it looks in the game and the answer to your original question is 'NO' this is not a hack or glitch.

Guess when I get home tonight I'll snap pics of the 458 in all blues it comes in and try to replicate that effect in Tokyo

Edit: So I bought a few blue 458 and went to Tokyo and I'll be damned... It is blue abu dhabi :embarrassed:

My apologies for the using words like hacked and glitch as my intention wasn't to draw attention to this thread for no reason. I used to collect paints since GT5 so I am familiar with the paints. So when I saw this car for the 1st time I was 100% sure it wasn't an original Ferrari paint job

This is what blue abu dhabi looks like in real life so to say PD got it wrong is putting it very lightly... If anything it looks like maziora andromeda II from GT5
