Did anyone experience any weird incidents when racing in Quick Match?
I was doing the 458 races when I notice this one individual that would constantly cut the track and fool about. And no matter the result of the race, he/she would end up 1st even though he/she is listed DNF.
In my case it was someone called krichner-06 or something. I tried looking at the list of my recent player met but the name wasn't in there.

Admin - I didn't know a suitable spot for this thread so I stuck it here. Please move the thread or lock it down if it is in the wrong place.

Is it possible ? You have to use a courtesy car I think it is more to do with the glitchy system and servers?

Maybe you are right. I just find it hard to believe when only 1 person is benefiting from this. And as I speak, I am watching a trail of tire smoke go around the track. With no car in sight.

In the future, might I suggest that you refrain from calling out members by name in regards to online experiences, especially if you are going to insinuate hacking is involved as your thread title suggests. The staff here really frowns upon mentioning users PSN names in cases like this. :)

Got it. A little late for me to edit my post now since it has been quoted in a couple of places.

Yea, I should have thought about that myself :embarrassed: but since it was already quoted before me, the damage had already been done as far as that goes. The staff will edit the posts if they see fit, no worries. At any rate, just some friendly advice for you in the future. :)

I noticed someone winning a lot in the prototype race. Like they had boost on all the time. When the race finished he was still driving as if he was a lap down.

Hi
I found Willow was messing about tonight, I entered a number of races & started 16th position in each race when there wasn't 16 cars (normally less than 8). Also I won a few times but it classed me as 2nd each time & one lap behind 1st place.

Willow is still making a touch strange, or is it the people? Came around & about 4 or 5 cars just setting at the start finish line. Of course they aren't moving & you get a collision penalty...
Of course to start the race the chuckle head behind me rammed me & I got a false start penalty, low & behold he zips right past without a care in the world. I think the system might have a glitch in it.

You've raised a good point there @N0t_L3fty,QM is obviously full of glitches, but when it comes to penalties, based on what i've previously experienced(I've given up on QM) I firmly believe that a lot of drivers are playing the system to gain an advantage.
For instance...

The amount of times i've been unnessecarily rammed, barged and all that and I'VE gotten the penalty-well too many times to count. This could just be down to bad driving, but it seems that a lot of drivers seem to know(and have worked out) just when and how to ram to gain an advantage and leave you with a penalty.
Or maybe i'm just paranoid

I was racing a quick match on Spa Francochamps with GT3 class cars, I was leading by 3.7 seconds and after I cross the line it gave me the second place....To be mentioned I had a clean start, escaped first from the first straight line and had no incident with no other racer(7 racers on grid). From that moment no more online races for me

I've almost never enjoyed the pole position advantage when doing QMs in Willow Springs. It is almost a given that someone will bump me and I can penalized for a false start.
Racing in Fuji seems to be noticeably cleaner. From what I have experienced.
