Had a really good time today but...

...there is just one problem I saw today. The thing is, every day there is a one-make with a different car, meaning I would have to spend 350k or 450k credits each time until I have pretty much Gr.3 & Gr.4 car in the game. After only 10 hours playtime this isn't a possibility for me, meaning that I can only take place in one daily race each day (barring the customary Nxxx formality race which some people, I suppose, enjoy).

With the move away from classic GT Mode style, I think the game would benefit if we could pick any car and not have to worry about credits. More realistically, I would like for PD to simply stop putting out one-makes and let us choose whichever car we a) have and b) actually want to drive. That, and stop wasting a slot on blooming Golfs and the likes (although I don't know how popular an opinion that is).

Any thoughts, people?

You get a free car daily just for driving. Also, the circuit challenges give you a car for completing each of them. In the case of Blue Moon for instance you can get a free car in less than 10 minutes. The driving school and mission challenges each give you a free car for each line you complete and the first couple of them can be completed well within an hour.

All of these also give you cash with which you can buy a car if you need it for a race and have not acquired it yet. Hope that helps and good luck.

I'm afraid my thoughts are that you're just gonna have to play more to buy more cars, or sit out the races you don't have the car for.
Or just do the nurb 24hr pitlane exploit (before it gets patched out) and make yourself wads of money to buy all the cars.

Tried that glitch today, was curious if it actually work for some quick bucks, but the pit lane was blocked.

I find all the one make races boring so I don't touch them, I think the real solution to your problem and most other people's (which are the opposite) is to have more options in the daily races, more races to choose from and have the longer races more frequently, 1 race per hour on tile 3 is a joke when the rest if the online races aren't even worth considering for a lot of us. I have found myself going back to other games now simply due to the lack of content, hopefully PD changes this soon as it would definitely increase interest again for a lot of us.

did you set it up properly? You have to make a custom race, 1 lap in the Nurburgring 24H track, set difficulty to professional, put yourself in last place, interval at 82 feet(or your country's equivalent), set AI to GR1 cars. when you get to the pits, you have to reverse into the pit. it will reset your position to first. proceed to the finish line for the victory. Nets you 141,000Cr and 1,400 EXP (clean race bonus gets you 211,000Cr and 2,100 EXP).

its not the first pit after the first corner, its at the main straight.

Ahh, did the wrong pit. It works indeed. If in need of a quick buck this might be handy .. but probably won't resolve to this unless absolutely crucial :D. Assume it will be (rightfully) patched out with next update.

Yeah, people have been exploiting this online and winning races with this method. Offline is acceptable but online is not. Screw those people in particular. They're insulting what sport mode is supposed to be.

Yeah as much as I didn't want to do it (honest) curiosity got the better of me and I tried it myself. Still works, make custom race, put opponents to max difficulty. I did it a few times, never again, it made me feel bad lol

Doing the glitch offline is fine; should NEVER be done online though, that's just wrong!

And yes, it feels 'wrong', but as long as it doesn't affect the online GT community....then what the hell!

Have you finished driving school, mission challenges and circuit experiences?
You get a ton of cars (and some cash) for completing these. The circuit experiences in particular
are very easy and will get you somewhere around 5 million credits at least, plus one free
car with each circuit completed > easy money.
I bought 50 cars and there are 164 cars in my garage, go figure ;)

I dont get these complain about milage points and credits just play the game how its intended and youl get all the cars sometime in the future..... is it that strange to play a game to get stuff?

If you do all the license test and circuit experience youl get allot of cars!!

And with racing time trails whatever youl get Mi points and money.

I never had any ploblems with both and got allot of cars now not all but thats just 1 reason to play the game right?

I did it for four days straight, at least 20 total hours of it lmao... I don’t feel an ounce of guilt because I want to platinum the game and I can you tell with the amount of xp you get right now racing online, it will take a minimum of a year to get to level 50 without the glitch... I plan to play some other games in the next year as well so it would have taken even longer. Level 44 is the half way mark... pretty absurd if you ask me.

Haha pathatic...... all for status ;)

Haha pathetic...... you can’t even spell pathetic.

The way I view doing an “offline” single player glitch is, that it doesn’t effect other users in any way so who cares... being level 50 doesn’t give you an advantage over others in any aspect of the game. It’s merely for self interest.

Uhh iam sorry that english is not my main ;) stupid me right. Iam trying my best......

I missed that your doing it offline thats okay but still how can you be proud with something that you get by cheesing or whatever? That is what i dont get, but hey diffrent people so do what you want ;)

But dont brag with it (not saying you do) i play also Destiny and how many people brag there with things they get by a carry in trails or a raid and they self play like ass thats why i hate it.

Sorry for bashing your English. As for the other part though... I’m neither proud nor ashamed of doing the glitch. I simply wanted to reach level 50 without playing GT Sport for a year or more, every single day of my life... and that’s that. The guy said he felt bad for doing it and I was just stating that I felt absolutely zero guilt doing something that doesn’t harm another player or give me any type of advantage over another.

Yeah to be honest it may sound strange but I would rather not have to grind tedious driving school challenges when I learn nothing from them and I could be having fun and getting experience racing online instead. The collection and progression part of racing games isn't appealing to me anymore unless it was a TDU game or something like that. As I said, I've only been able to play the game 10 hours in 2 weeks of having it and I really don't look forward to going on the game, only realising that I have to grind for an hour in order to buy a certain car which I need to access the game's centrepiece mode. It isn't a huge problem and will disappear eventually but definitely has somewhat stopped me from having fun so far.

I really think this wouldn't be bothering me whatsoever if they simply ran a general Gr.1, Gr.3 and Gr.4 race every day and then had another two daily race slots for one-makes etc. I don't know why they think limiting your choice is a good idea.

Well i get your thinking but the test en track experience dont take long and give you a **** load of money and free cars, do them once and you have a good starting point. And you never have to do them again ;)

When the update is out you can grind trough the races if you like that more, i think that will give some good cash! P

Yeah that will be something more fun although I did two AI races in my first ever time playing the game and was around 3 secs faster per lap than the hardest difficulty so...

Agreed. Totally beats the purpose.
