0 - 60 mph: 4.8 seconds

hey, there's one of those parked close to my school. i go past it every day :P. although the front bodywork looks slightly different, more stock. and therefore better. but yeah the rear tyre IS fat, and it looks great. however from what i managed to discern about that car on the hamann website, its just a regular M5 with the limiter taken off and some weight lost. they've barely touched anything besides the bodywork.

well i found a new and smoother version with the original
wing mirrors BUT it only has a sissy girly boy rear tyre so am disappointed

Please go find out what the german term for rice is. I really dont care what I call it. Retarded looking body mods to cars. We have all seen caveliers with neons and altezzas, please dont say a car needs to be made in japan to be rice. I have seen my share of e36 m3s with "euros", neons, "ice", "18's", and all of that ****.

Im not sure that a universal meaning for the term rice exhists. For me it is just a word I use to describe cars that look gross from body mods they have undergone. It also happens that most rice trys to make a car look mean. I think hamann bmws try and look mean.

They dont look very bad, and they certainly deserve a mean look, but I prefer different looking bmws. I have seen pictures of these hamann bimmers the past couple years, and I think they just look nasty. Less so this m5, but someone post some pictures of hamann e46s and you will understand a bit more.

my bad i misunderstood what you said, i always think of the term "rice" as a description for modified japanese cars and not european cars but i guess it could be applied here, well any way i see what you mean with the M3's. heres a pic of a new E46 Hamann M3 which personally to me spoils the smooth but aggressive lines of the car.

i think the e46 is plain ugly on its own. with or without mods. not to mention the new 7 series... dont know its model number.

i have a theory that the designer from bmw moved to mercedes a couple of years ago. the entire bmw range looked sooo sweet in the mid-late 90's now they are getting progressively uglier. opposite is true for mercs. they looked sweet up until the mid 70's and since 2000 they have started to pick up, the cl, s and e class a case in point. not to mention the sl or slr coming up. in fact their entire range is droolable! :D heh

lol its not rice... a toyota supra with a lets say veilside combat kit is not rice if it has engine mods....even without engine mods u cant call a toyota supra rice. and this bmw is not rice,

ok lets clear this up hey? "rice" is a car that has had body mods i.e: huge wing giant side skirts, u know, those beefy bodykits, but it has got nothing under the hood, like a honda civic without engine mods but all those extras is rice, but say u give a honda civic 250 HP and all those extras IT IS NOT RICE.

btw if a supra is rice then what is a chevy camaro, seeing as a toyota supra is faster than it....

oh and u may have a different feel about rice but guess what...YOUR WRONG, so plz dont call this car rice because it is most certanly not rice

469 bhp @ 6600 rpm
395 lb-ft @ 3800 rpm
0 - 60 mph: 4.8 seconds
Max Speed: 190 mph

now see there...not rice, no matter whats on the body, u might not like the look but some ppl do, doesnt mean its rice cos u dont like it

I always thought that car was called the Hamann Las Vegas Wings. Anyway, you reckon it's ugly!?

shut up! Rice is whatever I want to think it is. There is not a definition in a dictionary somewhere. I really dont care if that nappy yellow supra with gay kits galore has 500hp, its still rice. Just fast rice. I would give it no more respect. Its hard to respect someone with that horrible taste. It doesnt take brains or taste to make power. The more the better, simple as that.

You have some assumption that all rice must be slow.

I dont need someone, (again its GTP, so Im assuming you are like 14) especially younger than me, telling me what is and is not rice.

Fast rice is still rice. Simple as that.

Im undecided as to whether I think this is rice. I do know that I do not particularly like hw it looks. It isnt quite bad enough that I would consider it rice though.

I'm not so sure I like the wheels on any of them. Or the hood on the last one. I do like the gullwing doors though and the modified body on them.
