Well, my first 360 got the ring of death, but the replacement worked well until I replaced it with a slim, which I still keep. My first game was Kameo, my favorite is the Gears or War series, Halo remastered and 3, and Forza Motorsport 4, and I have fond memories of the Guitar Hero games.

Wow- a decade and a half of XBOX 360!? I was one of the original XBOX haters, saying it was like bringing PC-style graphics to a home console. I can recall Black Friday of circa 2005 when the XBOX 360 was on various kiosks. Some of the earlier demo games included "Project Gotham Racing 3" and "Call of Duty: Big Red One." The XBOX 360 has delivered some amazing visuals. It surely put up a fight in the PS3/Wii/XBOX360 wars. I even sometimes want to get an XBOX 360 to play many of the Forza Motorsport and Project Gotham Racing games. Perhaps even try the HALO series.

My only connection with the XBOX 360, though, is with the XB360 controller, which I have used for my PC. It is still one of the most comfortable controllers I've ever used. I may decide in the future to pick up a wired XBOX One controller- which is even more comfortable.

So, uh... happy anniversary, XBOX 360!

I remember my first xbox 360 was hellishly loud. But then I got the red ring of death and sent it off and got a replacement which was a bit better. I then got a further two red ring incidents each with a replacement and the final one was fairly quiet. I still have it linked up to my TV and play it occasionally.

I think the Project Gotham games were a great series. Don't know why it wasn't continued.

I got into 7th gen quite late in 2011 via the Xbox 360. I got a Slim, Grid, PGR 3&4, Dirt 1&2 followed by Forza 4, Horizon, Dirt 3 and Grid Autosport. I was blown away at the step up and quality of these games. One thing I didn't like was the amount of noise & heat that came from the console, I often thought it would break at any time, and of course it did, rrod. I got another console, (second hand), and touch wood it's still working for the odd non back compatible title I still want to play from time to time. I think the 360 controller is the best of all, even now. Great memories.

Wow, 15 years old. I have fond memories of the 360, such as buying it three times because they broke. But when they did work, man, some of my best multiplayer gaming memories were Forza, Halo and Gears of War.

I got 360 about a year and a half after it’s release and never had problems with it until I eventually traded it in for a PS4 about a decade later. However, I didn’t use it very much, mostly in the first few years with games like Forza and Mass Effect. Never liked Halo or Gears, so in general the console just collected dust more than anything as I was using PS3 for most 3rd party and Sony exclusive titles. It was a decent machine for its time, but I guess I’m not Xbox’s target audience. The only game I would like to have on PlayStation is Forza Horizon series.
