Today, on July 4th, the colony of Britain declared independence after a fierce war. This colony has not only expanded, gained land, and grew to be one of the greatest and most opportunistic countries, if not the most opportunistic country. Happy independence day America, and lets hope there are many more of these birthdays to celebrate. Hope everyone is enjoying their celebrations!

Yes! And I shall celebrate beating the English (Errr, myself?) with Hot Dogs, explosives, Swimming, and laughing at drunk middle aged men.

Happy 4th man!

EDIT: It is now July 4th in this area of Alaska. Just the Aleutians and Hawaii still on the previous day now...

We'll give you one more year to sort things out, and if it's still a mess, you're going to get such a spanking. Moving out early at such a young age seldom works; why couldn't you be well behaved like your brother, Canada?

All the best,
Daddy Britain

Srs: Merica. Burgers. Fireworks. And all that jazz. WOO!

Happy independence day. Don't overdo it with the burgers, fireworks and what not, some of you have to work tomorrow! ;)

Happy Independence Day 'Merica!!!

Brats, beer, burgers, booze, swimming, fireworks, and good neighbors will be the order of the day later today!!! My task is grillin' brats for 30-40 people 👍

Must sleep now.

Yesterday Egypt showed us what to do and how to do it!!!

Happy 4th!

Woke up at 7:15, dragging. Let the dog out, started to get in the shower, and then it hit me. I don't have to work today! W00t!

Happy 4th everyone! I'm off to the amusement park today for my dads company picnic :)

Then again, some of us don't! I can have as much what not as I want!

Then you are a wise man for booking days off work around national holidays!

I only have 1 day left to take this year but I need to save it for Xmas. :grumpy:

But I'm heading to FL in October so it's not all bad.

Aside from the well due congratulatory stuff to the neighbours in the north,

This just has to be trolling. Just HAS TO. I can't believe what I'm reading here. Insert Fry meme picture here.

May have been true at one time, but things change.

I'm not saying it in a negative way. I can't believe I'm reading that word in a thread that's supposed to celebrate your country. Wtf.

one of two: he is incredibly sarcastic, or he's... well, him

Happy 4th everyone! I will be celebrating by watching fireworks, drinking beer and eating barbecue. 'Murica, **** yeah!

I'll be celebrating it by working in a deserted store(It gets dead when the sun sets).

I don't mind too much as fireworks and large amounts of drunk idiots don't really do anything for me(It would probably be different if I drank, but I don't).

Happy 4th to those celebrating though.👍

For me it's a day to be proud to be an American. It's a time to get all the family together for a BBQ or something. Talk and rehash old memories while enjoying great food we're all familiar with and drinking a few beers here and there. That I enjoy. The irresponsible people that light M80s off, cause mayhem, and the drunk drivers? Not so much.

The irresponsible people that light M80s off.

That'd be me. :sly:

Although excluding the scars I've already got from playing with my fireworks for 20 minutes, I'm pretty responsible with them.

So, is 4th July a big holiday in America? Like Christmas big or what?

No. It's just another day. Everyone says "Hey, Good morning. Oh yea, I forgot, today is July 4th."

No one really does anything, except a few people who think that whole "Independence" thing really means anything. :sly:

I first met my wife on the at an Independence Day party here in China. That was 5 years ago. I was wearing my red jacket as I'd been strictly told not to and I love to wind people up.

Still, the majority of my friends are American, so enjoy guys. I'm going to an Independence Day party on Saturday (odd, I know) and yes, I will be wearing my red jacket. Might even take my Union Flag with me too because, well, it's bound to offend some sheltered person and that will be my replacement for beer.

Happy 4th!
