In past versions of GTPlanet's platform, birthdays were listed on the main forum page making it very easy to see and, yes, birthday threads were very common. Now they're kind of buried at the bottom of the member list and only with avatars, not names, making it more difficult.

Thanks, Ken - it was quite merry. Strange. My birthdays are most usually indifferent affairs - some gifts, some cards, a cake, the odd party or special dinner - but this time it was an all day riot. Past 1:00 in the morning over here in Scarborough and just shooed off the last of the partygoers.
I had two whole beers! And a glass of brandy.
I think I'm still a bit tipsy; not sure.

Thanks, Jarrod, it was - would have loved to have had all the Hot Wheelers over there - we would have turned the party into a HW fest! I did get diecasts as gifts, too - a whole series of ancient NASCAR stock cars in packages, too - will show you guys later.
