Has GT7 lag been identified and worked-around?

Know that horrible close quarters unplayable jittery lag in public [aka private league] lobbies?

Apparently on exhaustive testing by a partner community there a is cause and a fix - the ps5 version is somehow a mess, but the ps4 version works.

It seems all ps5 users should install the ps4 version.

As I understand it all ps5 users got a free "downgrade" option to the ps4 version of GT7 with their purchase?

Seems like you're not done with GT7 yet but instead with giving proper credit.
