Hey Guys!!!!I just ran a Track Meet and while Im watching the replay the car just runs off the track by itself and starts to bump into the barriers and go crazy!!! anyone have any idea why this is happening????

It's possible that an ARMAX/Gameshark "idiot AI" code stuck on your save...

I remember having a x2 or x3 power stick in GT3.

How would this have happened??? Ive never used a gameshark....Does this mean that my data is corrupt and if so,am I in danger of losing my data???

I had this happen to me once, way before I used my gameshark. It hasn't happened since then that I can remember.

I get this on Hong Kong every now and then, in a double lunger race. I'll come around the last turn, and a fiat 500 will be headbutting itself into the last right before the start/finish line. it also happened in GT2 with C43's on Apricot hill.

i have one.., i was doing a test run with my Spoon EK9 on Citta 'di Aria, and as i was watching the replay, the Civic was not accelerating!! after that, the Civic began rolling downhill, hitting walls like there was no driver inside the car.., weird man, very weird :odd:

It has happened to me before tho...I have this mega hp Supra that I used to run on Tsukuba Circuit and on EVERY replay the car would go crazy!!! Since I stopped driving it that hasnt happened.Until yesterday....Wait a sec, I tried to copy some data from a memory card that I believe was gamesharked once, could I have accidentally copied some kind of gremlin???

Have no fear... it happens every now and then.

You see, replays aren't really a replay of your lap, but rather the computer recreating what you just did. Sometimes the computer screws up.

PS2 can't keep up with y0 mad skillz, y0!

Hahahahahha!!! MY mad skill?? Thats an interesting point youve made Diego.....I never imagined it was possible for the comuter not to be able to recreate something I did.I do notice however that in all cases it happens when I am supposed to be cornering. This is very bizarre...are you sure Diego???

It has nothing to do with GameShark or ARMAX hacks. Replays comprise of recorded scripted input from the player that are executed in sequence on the track. Unfortunately, this system's success maps entirely on the game engine's ability to perfectly mimic your driving conditions.

Hence, if the replay--the "script"--encounters a moment that involves random variables, and the outcome does not perfectly match that of your original driving session, your car may spin out, but it will continue to execute the remainder of the replay's sequence of instructions while driving into, for example, a wall.

It's influenced by the car used and driving behaviour, but it will happen the most often on Driving Park Motorland; possibly 30% of the time, largely depending on your driving.
