After countless hours of watching him race, I realised why I had trouble getting around corners with high powered cars, because I always went full-throttle. It may sound stupid, but my Bobs taught me I can't always go pedal-down around every single corner.

taught me never to lend my car to anyone, even "race car drivers" lol i find most times he doesn't push as hard as I do, yet I race clean and place first while he ends up in 6th

ZDUPH, yeah me too. Its taking me a long time to not hammer the gas on exiting a corner. I don't use a wheel, so I guess its easier to feather the gas with one. Dunno.

Bob taught me that virtural murder isn't as fun, nor as satisfying as the real thing.

...waitaminute...

Seriously, b-spec has taught me infinite patience... well, b-spec and my 3 yo daughter.

Yes it showed me an easy way to get cash and cars with very little effort. 👍

👍👍👍👍👍

(gotta love throwing one of my bobs into a x2010, setting them loose on the 'dream car championship', and for nothing more than an few dozen button clicks and the electricity needed to power my ps3 for about 1.25 hours i get just over 1 million credits!)

well, besides that, just watching the races (when i'm bored) has helped familiarize myself a little better with the tracks - for when i get back to doing the driving myself!

One word... Nothing.

Colossal waste of my time.

Would rather A and B spec be intertwined with 10 times as many races! Would only be useful for doing endurance with me.

After the many complaints about the late-night expletives eminating from my house, I learned that my walls are actually thinner than I imagined.

Yes, watching B-spec is a little educational about passing zones. A-spec drivers (us) will tend to pass just about anywhere on a track, but B-spec drivers follow a more conventional and realistic pattern for passing. On some tracks, finding out where Bob will pass and won't pass has shown me some passing zones I might have missed, and some spots where it's really not good to pass.

For real??? I don't mean to sound like an ass but it took your bob to teach you this?

B-Spec has taught me that I can 'have my cake and eat it too!':sly:👍

*sets up Bob on the PS3 with massively overpowered car *
*goes off to more productive endeavours*
*returns to collect paycheck and prize car*
*rinses and repeats*

That, and showing off a perfect example of great worker-manager relations! Capitalism would love B-Spec since the owners of the means of production (us) put in no effort, forcing Bob (the worker) to drive long hours for no pay, while we collect 100% profit and glory!👍💡👍💡👍

👍 What he said!! My Bobs havent stopped for 4 days. And theres the patience thing, and anger management! Good stuff

He has taught me to drive cleanly and have patience. When i first started with the game i just bumped my way though the field to find my self first after half a lap. Sadly i have first realized how much more fun it is, to drive cleanly and only overtake when it is possible to do so without touching, after i have completed every race except the last three endurance races.
I have also learned that shouting at the TV wont make him stop making mistakes, but that has more to do with my temper then anything else i suppose.

use of the right analog stick for auto trans...otherwise short shift.

Same here. I've learnt a lot by letting Bob out in a car, then watching from bumper view.

Yeh B-spec can drive f1 cars better than me, maybe because I still use a control pad.
I think the time has come to get a steering wheel, not just for f1 cars but also because the X1 is just too hard to steer with the control sticks, hence I have yet to get anywhere with the Vettel challenge.

It taught me if you put him in a 230hp 945kg car when he is a level 13, he will lose when the Clubman cup.

However my tired level 29 Bob will win the same series.
