Hello dear fellow GTP member!

In the last couple of weeks, Rotary Junkie has been organizing a Tuner challenge in the Tuner & Settings part of this forum. Sadly, the challenge is not much of a challenge without people judging our work!

So would you, if you have the time, mind to have a look at our setups? We would be much appreciated with your opinion? :)

Further information/placement of judgements is to be given/put here:

And general discussion about the challenge is held here:

So please, help us out here.

Don't forget, have fun!:)

We need your help on this one guys. If any of you do have a few hours spare and would like to take on any of the classes for judging (preferably RWD judges needed) then please check the TCv4 judging thread to get the car specs and then get to it. :)

*looks sneakily at Parnelli and twiddles thumbs* ;)

Update: All categories have been tested and judged, all but one. Rear Wheel Drive.

Please help us out here, the guys who sent a setup for that section can't judge that category themselves. You can't judge your own car you know..

And also you'll add a lot of good tuned cars to your garage!

he hee. What are you lookin at me for? :)

Seriously, I haven't got time to buy, set up, and test all those cars. Maybe one or two of them, but all of them?...I got a job, Isort of have a life, and (believe it or not) Idon't actually have much time to game. But I appreciate the offer. :dopey:

I'm not the best driver in the world. Got a day or so spare if that helps. Probably come down to matter of choice, but gimmee a shout if you need a novice unbiased opinion.

Edit Sorry. Just read first post again. Will go and get some.

You pick the track you want to drive on to allow yourself to judge the cars independently, a track that you're comfortable to race on day after day, but you have to give a reasonable explaination to what the benefits of Car A over Car B though to Car M through this part or that part from handling to braking to power application. Have a read through the TCv4 judging thread to get an idea of what we actually put the cars through to get our judgements.

For me personally it took nearly 2 full days of driving at Grand Valley Speedway because I wanted to make sure I had all the judgements correct (some of us tuners are very picky) and to relay the correct feedback to the entering tuners. And the flip side is if you are going to speak badly about a particular car you have to back up WHY it's such a bad car otherwise you'll cop a backlash and have people thinking you're not the best person in the world to talk to at that moment.

Do two here, three there until you're done :P

👍 Big thanks Parnelli, we need all the help we can get with RWD, mainly because it's the biggest and because near all the tuners entered, there's hardly anyone without a conflict of interest.

Oh jeez. I gotta make my opinions, public, eh? :nervous: Oy. This will be interesting.

Since I'm currently driving as Pizza Boy, and he previously had a phase where he was driving Mk. IV Supras, , it's easy for me to get into a Supra RZ, and conveniently it's at the top of the list of RWD links. Do you guys want me to post my opinions/votes here? Or in that other thread?

Sorry guys. Was going to judge for you but woke up to find a 80410A0B error code.
Rang Sony, and it has to go back to be fixed. Maybe it will be back for the next one.

So what's gonna happen with the contest? Will the rear-drive part get an extension? I think it should cuz I noticed nobody drove them much yet. I'd be willing to drive a couple more, but (as I said) it would take me like a month or so to properly get them all done. :indiff:

Argh, would love to help you out here guys, I'm always one for trying out cars, and adjusting the setup for the extra millisecond, but I'm in the middle of a torrid exam period right now. :ouch:

Any other time, and I would go right ahead and boot up the PS2. :guilty:

Nearly 120,000 people registered and we can only get 1 person to help us??

Come on GTP, support your site, help your fellow tuners out, judge TCv4.

Actually, yes, in light of how things are going, I'd like to extend RWD to at least the 31st...

So, since we've still not seen a full judgment of the RWD class, I will post this reminder:

If you'd like, would you help us out here?

We are a couple of guys who enjoy driving cars in GT4 with no driving aids. This will need to set the car up/tune the car. We also like to share our findings with everyone here on GTP. We also do challenges, to show others how 'good' we're at it.

Sadly, we can't go judge these setups ourselves because almost all of the tuners have added their own setup to the challenge. Judging by compeditors would mean leaving your own setup out of the challenge. Not many tuners would like to enter a challenge to eventually have to disqualify yourself out of it.

I can't guarantee anything here, but I can try to judge at least some of the RWD class. I did TCv3 (some of you might remember that Skyline I "tuned"), so I have at least some idea as to what to look for in judging. Soon as I'm finished with the Sarthe II 24h, I'll see what I can do.
