I did about three and a half years ago. I wanted to give blood in September, but since I just got a tattoo in July, I couldn't.

Yes sir, I have. My next date that I'm allowed to donate is January 3rd, 2002. Although, I currently don't plan on driving fifty miles to do it.

The only reason I did in the first place was they came to me. In other words, our school had a blood drive and I was feeling generous.

I have athesma, and if I have used ANY medicine within a few weeks, they won't let me donate

nope... and I don't have an excuse either... just a total and complete fear of needles!!!

I did it, and then felt hazy for a while. I know it was because I didn't eat enough before I went, and that there's no reason why I shouldn't do it again, but I just haven't.

Sometimes I feel guilty about it and think I should go again, but at least I went once.

My Uncle, just as an aside, has given blood 99 times, and he is 60 years old! They won't let him get the 100th time, because of his blood pressure, which is a TINY bit over their limit....

OVER their limit? Heh heh! That reminds me of a spoof piece of advice I saw once: "High blood pressure sufferers: just cut yourself, and the problem will solve itself", which I thought was quite funny.

Anyway, I don't want to poke fun at your uncle, because that's sterling work, but it sounds like one of those weird things in life that doesn't make sense to people unless they really know what's up.

Which I don't.
