Having 2 of the same car and sharing tuning options?

As per the title really.
If I were to purchase a car and buy tuning options for it and then buy the same car again, could I use those tuning options again or do you have to buy the tuning options again for that particular car.

Not positive, but imagine it's real life. If you bought 2 identical cars, you would need a set of tuning parts for each car. I'd imagine that's how it works anyway, given how tires and such work.
