Having serious problems

I recently got Juiced again, and became addicted, and that's when I stopped playing GT4. Now I inserted GT4 and started to drift. I could still pull great drifts, but I felt the car very different. I started practicing for weeks then, but the car still felt weird. I know I didn't change any settings or tuning, and I go on the track I best drift on.

What's happening to my car?

(The car is a Mazda RX-7 FC.)

Well I refreshed the chassis, changed the oil, and changed the tires to N2 and now it feels a bit better. But I still get several spin outs. Don't know if its me overpowering the tires or too little countersteer, but I use the same (both mentioned before) as always.

Yeah also remember that its been a long time since youve played. youll come back. Same thing happened to me after I played NFSU2 for a few months.

Things always change, its like using a car for a whole month then switch over.

it's quite possible that it's both. I've had Juiced too, not to mention EnTHUsia ,and after playing those games it felt bit weird to return into GT4. difference in the physics engine is THAT large. but don't worry, couple days more and you're pro again.👍

I went through the same problem, but worst of all on different systems, it takes time to go back to the normal grove of things, plus after playing newer and or more interesting games it can be hard to go back, I found myself more bored then anything, I love the GT collection but they can leave you wanting more.

ROFL I was drifting in the first corner of Midfield, and some AI guy came up too fast, hit me, and gave me the extra impulse to pass the entire corner without needing to straighten out.

But I'm getting better. I changed the tires again and now it goes smoother than before.

yeah AIs do some stupid moves sometimes, like ImprezaAddict say, when you drifting, and slow down during corner, AIs dont slow down and sometimes no braking at all and push you far in the corner as expected,:ouch: but you can do some funny trick with a little bit sense of timing...and some luck too:lol:

What's d1gp like? is there serious and tight rules on drifting specifically? like is there, "must drift every corner"?

Anywho, Can soemone teach me to upload an avatar?
