Show off the beauty of your favorite ride with a set of nice rims. Pick your side with original rims or aftermarket rims (e.g. BBS, Rays, Yokohama, etc, but wheels of the day are not allowed.) You may enlarge your rim's size with racing tires to make it looks good. No limitation on location and car choice, but the rims must not be spinning to impress.

There will be two polls at the beginning of every week.
Each poll will have a top ten for that "competitor".
These polls will last for five days.
A final poll containing the winners from both polls will last 2 days.
You must post your final entry and your chosen "head" in red letters, ex. “Final Entry - USA”.
Previews may be used, but may be no bigger than 300*400 pixels.
You may have two HM's if a preview image is not used.
You may change your Final Entry once (make it clear you did).
Edit out your original entry, or make it clear it is no longer "Final".
Do not use an entry from a previous competition.
Only one entry may be submitted, and it must be uploaded using Imageshack.

Colour/Saturation adjustments
Cropping/Resizing

Now that's a great entry 👍 You shouldn't have left the brake discs untouched though, they're quite bad textured...

I wanted to edit them but my Photoshop is really playing up since installing Snow Leopard. If I select an area and then apply a blur to it I can't deselect the area until I've changed to another tool and then changed back again.

So if I wanted to select multiple areas of the disc I'd have to select an area, then save that area, then deselect the tool and reselect it to start on the next area. It's so annoying. :(

Woah, that sounds terrible to work with. Have you figured out what causes it? Perhaps it's a problem with the compatibility between Photoshop and Snow Leopard?

The hotkey for deselecting doesn't work either? (Ctrl+D)

And this, yes! If I select something, apply a filter and then want to deselect it I have to switch tools before it becomes active again! It's so annoying!:yuck:

That BMW Looks Great

This should be a fun theme

Final Entry- Aftermarket Wheels

Car: '02 Ford Focus RS
Wheels:Yokohama 025

can i use original rims from a race car transferred to a road car from a phototravel image?

Nevermind, i failed on several counts. Didn't read the rules properly. :banghead: My attempted first head to head entry in years. :(

But the rims must not be spinning to impress. It says in the rules(details).

FINAL ENTRY - Aftermarket

That entry is just insane. It's rare to see a shot of a car at such a phenomenal angle. 👍 The cleaness is standard in entries from you and all in all, this shot is just a masterpiece. Great stuff, Bram! 👍

Thank you for the kind words! 👍

It's a pretty old image actually. I think I took it July 2007, but I'm not sure. It's in my gallery as well, page 45 or around there (46? 44?), but I've done a little tweaking on this one.

this is how wheels should be fitted :D deep dish and slammed to the ground.
not sure which category this fits in, but i guess it would have to be Stock,
since these are the only set of wheels i can fit on this car in the game.

final entry

STOCK Wheels (kind of)
preview

i hope gt5 comes with a photomode that has flash photography in mind, that and long shutters and aperture that actually do more than balance depth of field !
