Just turned the big Five-Oh is September and bought myself a PS3 and GT5 .
I've owned a few reasonable cars including a '95 Mustang GT (built up engine,Pro-Charger) that became un-driveable in winter after all the mods,and so I added a SVT Focus for a daily driver in 2002.I drag raced the Mustang,but then got into Autocrossing with the Focus.The Focus quickly became my favourite,and the Mustang only saw a few summer drives.Then I got married 5 years ago.The Mustang was sold
,and I haven't auto-crossed for 2 years..
Now the Focus is for sale ,because it's been replaced by a 2011 Ford F150 FX4 Supercrew truck.I bought the truck in September.It's nice and quiet,and it has a nice info-tainment system, and 5.0 engine has nice grunt,but it's boring compared to the Focus.
I miss "spirited driving" ,so I picked up the PS3.Now I race on the couch with GT5 !
I had a PS2 , and went through the GT series,but haven't played for a few years.I really like GT5 !
Unfortunately I've been playing it too much.I like to run (ran two Half-marathons this year) ,but I've missed a lot of runs since getting the PS3.
I just signed up for the Ottawa Half marathon next June,so now I gotta get my ass outside and hit the paths..
I found this forum through the interwebs after searching for some GT5 questions.
I look forward to gaining more knowledge,and sharing my fun !
