My name is Matt, I'm 25 and I live in Long Island, New York.
I started playing Gran Turismo when GT3 came out. I always loved racing games but got a little tired of the arcade play of series' like Need For Speed and such. I only bought GT5 this past August when I got to the point of unimaginable boredom with the Nintendo Wii. Sold that and all my games and used the store credit towards a PS3 and GT5. Been loving it ever since. Favorite car is the Mazda 787B.
About Me:
I have a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. And I live with my girlfriend of 7-years, Lisa, here on Long Island.
I love the NY Rangers and the NY Yankees. Hockey is my love and I still play every week on a team here on Long Island. Been a Rangers fan since 1992 and a Yankee fan since 1990. The Rangers are doing very well so far this season so they're fun to watch right now. The Yankees? Well, we lost to the Tigers in the ALDS so it wasn't a stellar year.
Music is my other passion. I love metal and progressive rock. My favorite band is Tool. I also love Gojira, Meshuggah, Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson, Devildriver, Isis, Mushroomhead and old school Metallica.
I'm also what they refer to as a pen addict. I love to try new pens. The good stuff from Japan that you can't find in stores here in America.
Also, The Simpsons. I'm a die hard Simpsons fanatic. Seasons 1-9 of The Simpsons is as good as anything ever put on TV as far as I'm concerned.
So I guess that's about it. I'm looking forward to talking Gran Turismo here with the rest of you all!
