Hello everyone.
My name is Kendall. I'm down in southwest Florida, Naples to be exact. My passions in life are my family, my buds, Formula 1, hockey, and paintball. I'm also a military history enthusiast particularly in the WWII era. I'm a die hard lifer Kimi Raikkonen, and Detroit Red Wings fan. Other games I enjoy are the Metal Gear Solid series, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and classic NES, and Super NES games.
I've been an avid Gran Turismo fan from day one, and given the fact that GT6 is (supposedly) about to be released (which makes me feel a bit old), I've finally decided to begin posting on this forum.
My introduction to Gran Turismo was the demo disc late in 1997 witch, I believe, was released in an issue of the Official US Playstation Magazine, though at the time I was a long-time subscriber to PSM. I remember pounding out laps with the Skyline, NSX, and various other cars at the High Speed Ring with my cousin, and being forever in love with the series. My parents rewarded me with the game that Christmas, and since then I've purchased and played the heck out of every GT game since. I've still got all of my original games and manuals, and can't help but take them out once in a while for a few laps.
I'm more than impressed with this website and forum community. It makes me wish I had found this place ten years ago. I can't wait to get involved with the forum, and online events. Time isn't as available as it was in the days on GT 1,2, and 3, but I'm as passionate about the franchise as I always have been. I'm happy to find a home to share appreciation, ideas, and criticisms of this great series with people that are as in love with this game as I am! I'm looking forward to meeting you.
