I've been lurking for a few weeks, and joined, although I haven't had an excuse to post yet. I've played every Gran Turismo, own every Gran Turismo game (except 4, although I had it, and I wish I still had it), and it's been my introduction to cars, driving, and racing.
I love the cockpit view in GT5, although it's impossible to do rain races in, and I was disappointed that only the premium cars have the cockpit view. This GT also marks my transition into using the manual transmission. Although I still have lapses of not upshifting at the right moment, it feels awesome.
