I've lurked on this site for quite a while, decided to sign up a while ago, and finally decided to post in time for gt6. I'm really into dirt track and Legends racing, and enjoy driving a lot of the oddball and "boring" cars in gt5. I find them interesting. I look forward to being a part of your community.

Ahh good choice joining GTPlanet, lots of fun to be had and information to learn. Welcome to :gtpflag:!

Helloooo! And welcome to gtplanet. :-p

I know exactly what your talking about. What's your take on the Jay Leno Tank Car '03.

Welcome!

I used to go to the Stock Car Racing all the time, the British version though.

In real life the car is a beautiful idea, but poorly executed outside of aesthetics--the car was originally just an art piece, and before Leno acquired it, it had to be reinforced to handle the torque, and brakes had to be added. That's right--no brakes

In game the car is one of my favorite to make ”cruise" laps around deep forest or trial mountain, but isn't really able to be pushed as a racer.

Yeah and the steering is a little iffy in sharp corners.

So what's your favorite oddball car in gt5.

Actually, one of my favorite cars to drive is the Mitsubishi AIRTREK Turbo-R '02. Its kind of a small suv-crossover kind of vehicle. Its all wheel drive and I make A LOT of hot laps in it bone stock. Surprisingly fun to drive

My favorite car is the Buick special. Not very good in the corners but good for drag racing.
