hey guys im new here and i kinda need your help. basically, im having trouble with my gt4 because on my tv, it displays in black and white. but the strange thing is that the ps2's menu is in colour, other games are in colour, and gt4 is in colour on other tv's, so can anyone help me? thanks in advance

Try to re-check your connectors.. If they look fine, then go to ''Options'' -> ''Display'' and check the display settings there.

thanks invinciblem5, but i tried those settings and it didnt work for me, i think it may have something to do with my ps2 or my copy of gt4, because the ps2 and the tv are pal and the copy pf gt4 is ntsc/uc, so this might have something to do with it? 💡

I see it there. It could well be that your TV does not support NTSC. Is your PS2 modded? If it's modded then it can run both PAL or NTSC nicely but if your TV only accept PAL then there's nothing much you can do unless get a new TV. How about your other games? Are they PAL or NTSC too?

EDIT: Oh not exactly, you can actually go to a shop and ask for a PAL-NTSC or vice versa converter. Hopefully that would help...

thanks invinviblem5, my ps2 isnt modded, so i dont know how it can run ntsc games, i have pal games which work fine, and other ntsc games too, which i havent tested, i might go to a shop and get a converter and see how it works if not then i'll just get a new tv or copy of gt4. thanks alot for your help!

I suggest you to get a PAL copy of GT4 first and see what happen as it's probably the cheapest 1st solution. I don't know exactly how much a converter would cost though. Anyways, enjoy your holidays and Merry Christmas
